Lost in the trees

I used to sing and dance,
And smile and laugh,
In these trees I knew so well.
They hold my treasured moments,
The ones that will always be.
They've kept all my secrets,
Those lonely summer trees.
I now walk through these woods,
Hearing whispers in my ear,
My secrets I've never told,
To anyone but the trees.
I wander around, now flustered,
I've become lost,
In these lively summer trees.
I'm lost in these trees,
These trees I used to know,
These trees I knew so well.
But now I'm lost,
Lost in the trees.
