first kick

eth: you were in the kitchen cooking dinner when ethan had gotten home. "how are you doing?" he asked kissing your neck.

"we are doing just fine," you said as you continued chopping up the lettuce. he smiled and washed his hands getting ready to help you when you gasped, you felt the baby kicking.

ethan turned towards you, watching as you held onto the bump. "what? what's happening?" he asked worried.

you shook your head smiling and taking deep breaths. "the baby is kicking!" you said and ethan's worried expression turned into a smile. you grabbed his hand and placed it on the spot as the baby kicked against his hand.

"wow," he said, "this is amazing!"

gray: you were sitting on the couch, playing on your phone as a random t.v. show played in the background. "gray!" you yelled as your hand set on two different spots of your bump. you waited a few minutes before yelling for him again.

you heard him run down the stairs, "what? why are you yelling?" he asked, clearly just woken up from a nap.

"give me your hands," you said as he sat down next to you. you placed his hands on your bump and he furrowed his eyebrows.

"i was taking a nap," he said and you shushed him, trying to get him to focus.

you smiled feeling the babies kick, "here," you whispered and he furrowed his eyebrows. "can you feel that?" you asked and he shook his head. "okay, focus," you said and he nodded.

"i felt that! what is that? that was so amazing!" he said excitedly causing you to smile.

you bit your lip, "this is the first time they kicked," you said and he placed his hands back in the spots, feeling them kick once more.
