Chapter two

-Excuse me, am I in the right classroom?

-Are you Felix?

-I sure am.

-Then you're right! Class, listen up!!

Everyone except me looked at the new kid.

-Mel!

-What?!

-Pay attention!

-Whatever...

The last thing I don't think she heard.

-I know we told you guys that we weren't getting any new students, but, change of plans. This is Felix. You can sit there by Melody. Melody!

No reaction.

-Mel!

-Now what?

-You are gonna show Felix around today, but don't make him a troublemaker like you are. Okay?

I sighed.

-Okay.

The guy who apparently was Felix came and sat down beside me.

-So should I call you Melody or Mel?

-I'll only listen to Mel.

I answered shortly.

-Sure. So, you're gonna show me around?

-Apparently.

-Are you always this shut?

-It depends.

-On what?

-Who's asking. Are you always this curios?

- It depends.

- On what?

- Who I am talking to. What are you doing?

-Writing.

-What?

-Felix and Melody! Pay attention!

I kept writing and I don't really know what Felix did, but it became lunch. Felix followed me out of the classroom.

-There's the cafeteria, and there's the restroom.

I headed the opposite of the cafeteria.

-Aren't you gonna eat something?

I showed him the apple I brought.

-But where are you going?

-The music room.

I kept walking and he was right beside me.

-Where's that.

-Classroom 201.

-Do you always hang out there?

-Every break, but on Mondays it's occupied every break except at lunch.

-Wow, that was the longest sentence I've ever heard you say.

-Funny. Now, go to lunch.

He stopped and watched me leave for the music room, and then turned around and went to grab some food.

I was finished with the lyrics, so I grabbed a guitar and just sang it to clear my mind of everything else.

I was really satisfied about the chorus, it was great. I sat down by the old piano in the end of the room and continued where I left this morning. When I was all done I sang it through once.

-You have an incredible voice.

-Felix! You scared the shit out of me!

-I'm sorry Mel.

-It's okay... How long have you been in here?

-Long enough.

He strolled towards me.

-The song was great!

-Really? I finished it this morning.

-Yes! It's great.

-Thanks!

-No prob. Hey, ehmm... Do you know who Justin Bieber is?

-You are kidding, right?

-Of course you do... But, have you been to any of his concerts?

-Nope, I'm not a belieber.

-Okay.

-Why?

-Well, I'm part of this group of four...

- And?

-Well, we were opening for him.

-Really?!

-Yep...

-That's awesome!

-Yeah... It was pretty cool.

-But shouldn't you be famous then?

-Well, we only have three songs and the concert wasn't that long time ago.

-Right...

-Hey, I just wondered...
