I watch him leave with her and that is the beginning and end of this slow riot inside of me
I look at him with her
And think
He used to do that with me
And it all comes rushing back
Like a cold storm brewing in the horizonHe made a mess of me
And I am learning to rise from the ashes
While there is still fire in me.
