"You look beautiful" the cops whose name I still had yet to learn said.
"Thanks... your a bit early aren't you?" I ask as I move away from my buildings door. I was returning from work and had yet to make my way up.
"I am but why don't we start now?" He says extending his hand out to me. I hesitate taking it but ones I do he grips it tightly as we walk away from the building.
I haven't held hands much but I was sure it wasn't supposed to be like this. Our hands just didn't fit well together. His hand was soft like a girls and cold, I hated it. I let him guide me away from the building feeling slightly annoyed.
I wished I could have freshened up. I was wearing a button up black and white stripped shirt with black pants, a belt and my purse hung from my shoulder. My hair was pulled up in to a messy bun as soon as my shift was over. I had rushed home to be able to talk to him but alas there was my date.
He on the other hand looked fresh. He had plain black tshirt with jeans and a black jacket. His hair was styled to the point where it looked stiff. I felt as if he was trying really hard. I wanted to appreciate the gesture but I wasn't interested in him at all. I didn't know why he was interested in me at all. I was plain Jane like my self.
"Come on" he says as he moves around the cop car and opens his door. I open my door and get in.
"So... where are we going?" I ask hoping its something simple and its over quickly.
"First dinner I am starving" he says giving me a small smirk. I can only manage a tight smile upon my lips in return. He turns on the radio and I look around the inside of the police car. There were a lot of buttons and controllers. I stare at everything looking for any clues as to what his name is and then I spot some dog tags hanging from the mirror. I see the name Mark, but it could be the other cops name or a friends. I guess I would just have to give it a try.

Through the Dark *ON HOLD*
RomansIt became a routine. As I would leave work I would drag my feet just for a chance to see his eyes for a second longer. They were the deepest brightest blue eyes I had ever seen. I wasn't sure how it was possible for them to glow under the moonlight...
