Dress shopping

Courtney's PoV

It was November the 1st Walking through school, I didn't feel more alive. Hand in hand with Travis laughing at his awful jokes. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Amelia all alone. She looked at me terrified and I showed her my large fangs and she ran away. I couldn't help myself from laughing and cuddled into Travis' side. "Thank you."
"What for?"
"saving me I didn't actually say thank you." We smiled at each other then proceeded out of the school doors. We were about to turn a corner to head to my house when I heard my name called from behind, "COURTNEY WAIT!" Suddenly I was snatched out of Travis' hand and began being ragged around like a doll. "Woah calm down what the heck?! Human body here, no shaking please." I managed to escape the hands of what turned dout to be kawaii-chan, no surprise there I guess. Then the rest of the gang finally arrived. "What was that all about?" I asked looking at the girl but then all the girls even Kateyln began jumping up and down screaming, "We're going dress shopping!" My eyes opened in horror, "Oh no, I am not. Dress shoping is the last thing I want to get excited for. What's the occasion anyway?"  then they stopped and the guys backed off afraid, "You haven't heard? PROM" My mouth formed an 'o' as I remembered about prom. "Look guys, I don't like dresses as you can tell, I'd find it more exciting to buy suits with the guys." when I looked for Travis and everyone then had already disappeared, 'I'll get Travis later for this.'
"alright I'll go with you but I'm not buying a dress, I'll probably not go anyways."
"WHAT?!" they all screeched at once and I quickly covered my sensitive ears. "guys wolf, ears, sensitive. Cut out the screaming!"
"It's every girls dream to go to prom, besides you have Travis." Kateyln wiggled her eyes and my cheeks began to blush a slight red and all the girls began to giggle. "He hasn't ask me yet and even though we are going out... I don't know if he's going. Anyways let's just go before I change my mind." We all went to Aphmau's house and her mum took us to the mall and then I was dragged into every dress and shoe store to find the right outfit. They all found theirs easily but I was being VERY picky. For the fact I didn't want one and if I did, I'd want it to be special. "Courtney stop being picky! You thought you hate shopping with us? You make it impossible."
"There's a reason I'm being picky so there isn't a dress I'd like."
"Is that a challenge I hear?" Suddenly from round the corner a man who seemed to be the owner of the store looked at us with a gleam in his eye. "You say you don't like any dresses that suit your style?" I cautiously shook my head and he looked at me with a challenging smile, "I bet I can find a dress you'd like, min if I try?"
"Sure and what do you get out of it?" He simply laughed and shook his head, "Oh nothing but a happy customer and I do get to test my skills out, so anyway tell me what your looking for." I told him how I like it to fit and how I didn't want it without strap worrying it'll fall down, it had to be blue and sparkly like the stars. He listened carefully and disappeared in a back room for a moment before appearing with a dress. Has he been secretly stalking me because it was perfect. The thick straps on the should didn't make the dress stand out as it flowed to the floor. The chest area was full of separate gems that made it look like star, just staring at it made me wonder if I was looking at the night sky or a dress. Quickly hugged the strange man and took the dress as Aphmau payed for it like she did with the other dresses. "Oh and I imagine you'd like some shoes with that?" From under the counter he pulled out some small heels that matched the colour of the dress and at the toes held a single shine gem, how did he know I didn't like high heels. "How much are them?" Aphmau asked and he shook his head, "Consider it a present, niw have a good day girls." We all said our byes and headed to the food court to gab some food before heading home. I couldn't help myself from looking at the dress, it was beautiful but I was worried, thinking Travis isn't going to like it. "With you wearing it he'll love it." Aphmau had leaned into my ears and whispered this while Kateyln and Kawaii-chan argued about what food to eat. "How did you kn-" cause I worried about that too when I bought my dress but I realised he isn't going to change his mind about you depending on the dress you wear." smiling at Aphmau I gave her a quick hug before heading to order food, "You're right thanks." now all of a sudden I can't wait for prom, it's going to be the best night ever!
