"Can you stop bruh, like on god you fucking erkin my nerves!" I yell at my little brother who plays in my hair while I try to write my proposal for work.
"Mason leave her alone!" He sucks his teeth and gets up off the couch walking away as I silently laugh.
"Thanks ma." She winks at me and I continue typing. "I'm done." I close my laptop after sending the file and walk in the kitchen." What you cheffin up in hea?"
"Phoe get out my kitchen! And you ain't wash your hands. How many times do I have to tell y'all. Go in one ear and out the otha." I laugh.
"Ma calm down, I wasn't even gonna touch nothin." She sighs.
"Who you talkin to?" She smirks hitting me with the towel.
"Ok you got it, I'm about to go though."
"You headed home?" I nod hugging her.
"Drive safe and text me when you get there."
"I will, Mase I'm leavin." He rushes in the kitchen and hugs my leg causing me to smile. "Bye monkey.
"Bye Phoe." I kiss his cheek grabbing my stuff. I go to my car hitting the unlock button on my key chain, getting in and pulling off turning on Gucci Mane. "We don't fuck around wit that fuck shit." I rap along as I get on the highway heading to Manhattan.
Hours Later
"Phoenix!" I hear someone call but I chose to ignore it pulling the cover over my head." Nah, I know you heard me." Recognizing the voice belonging to my bestfriend. "Get up." He pulls the cover off me smiling , I sit up jumping in his arms. "Hey bestie!"
