I don't know how to describe the feeling of watching someone's crush slowly walk out of their life and not be able to do anything about it. You feel helpless and useless, like you haven't done your job. Just when you think he's gone for good, he comes back, like a lost puppy or something. He came back with a purpose. You can tell. " I think I like her..." you told me. " But you told me yesterday that you've tried a million and one times to tell her that you didn't like her." I told you. " Yesterday was different, it's a different day." You said trying to sound poetic. " Yeah but it's not even a different week yet ya idiot." I told him. " oh hush you, nobody needs your smart logic, we only need hers." You said. I was getting annoyed that you were playing with her emotions. " I know your trying to cover something up, not to be mean but you are never this nice to anyone, even her." I told you. Then I continued " It's pissing me off, you need to tell her now if you don't like her or if you do." At this point, I was fed up with all of this. You didn't reply for a good two hours, as per usual. When he did reply he said " Do you like choclate? If so what kind?" You were trying to change the subject. I went along with it as it did mean that I had the chance of getting choclate. "Hersey's, and candy corn." Then you replied with " candy corn isn't choclate though!!" " I know but I want candy corn." I didn't want candy corn,
I was trying to get it for her. " I'm not gonna bring you candy corn." You said. " fine." I exclaimed sarcastically. You brought it to me and told me " you seem mad all the time..... I think I know why." I glared at you for a second and said clearly " no it's not what you think it is, it's not that time." We had a few seconds of akward staring until you mumbled " ok, just take the damn choclate anyways." You walked away. She approached me seconds later. I quickly had to get the choclate into my backpack so she wouldn't see it. "Hi, what's up?" She asked cheerfully. " Oh nothing really, just the norm." I said, and continued on with the rest of our conversation and through the whole day, without you knowing.
