As Sebastian pulled up into a parking lot that was packed, it was about three minutes until he had found a parking spot. He was lowkey or irritated by the many people who sat in their cars for no reason other to take up space. But once reverse parking, he took a breath to calm himself and glanced to his boyfriend who fiddled with his thumbs as a nervous quirk. It was cute in Sebastian's opinion, but he couldn't sit there in a daze about how cute his lover was; instead he placed his own hand over Ciel's as a form of reassurance. His heart almost melted at the sight of the bluenette's anxious hues meeting his own.
After long moments of silence they were seating themselves in a dim theater, and somewhat hand in hand (by somewhat I mean that it was Sebastian's hand brushing against Ciel's in hope he would take that as a hint but it only resorted in him squeaking out a "Sorry!" and shoving his hand in his pockets.)
Soon, they reclined in their seats, looking at the large screen, and the fairly large room faded into a darkness; only letting the enormous screen illuminate the room.
Throughout the almost two hours of the only sound of being the overly loud speakers and the chewing of the man next to Ciel, but that didn't bother him for some reason. He was confused, but the feeling of Sebastian's hand embracing his gave a feeling of comfort, causing butterflies to roam inside his stomach. The raven haired male noticed this as well and gave a grin, gently applying three squeezes.
Ciel felt automatically that he should do it in return, as if it meant something between them; and that was right.
Once upon a time, around last year, Sebastian was very sick; he could barley talk, while Ciel took care of him since Sebastian's parents were out of town, he used three squeezes of their hands as a way to physically say "I love you." and ever since that dreadful week, that was how they would say it, without words.
Ciel had become drowsy within the few hours of sitting there and doing nothing, and when it was over Sebastian was the one to carry him to the car. As he tried so hard to set him in carefully, he accidentally bumped the poor boy's head against the roof of the car. With a whimper and a small "ow." Ciel curled up in his seat, quickly buckling himself up before Sebastian could.
God, he felt bad. He mumbled about how terrible of a person he was for hurting his love before sliding inside of the vehicle and turning to the somewhat injured boy.
"Kitten?" Sebastian spoke.
No reply.
"Hey are you okay?" He shook him slightly.
The only response was a nod and a shiver.
Noticing how Ciel shivered, he figured he was cold, so the older male shed his jacket and placed it over the cute bEAN and gave a smile at the adoring sight.
"I love you." Sebastian whispered to the now sleeping boy, sighing in a sad state before driving to return him home.
It was almost an hour before himself had returned home; he lived in a two room apartment with his parents. Honestly, he usually spent days at Ciel's house, but he knew he shouldn't stay when he had no reason. Honestly, without Ciel he had no reason for anything.
Sebastian gave a dreadful sigh before flopping onto his mattress that creaked in response. He wanted to scream, cry, punch something. But he had to pull himself together; for Ciel he had to put himself together. He took a deep breath and sat up, nodding as he agreed to his own thought. Tomorrow he had mentally planned that he and Ciel would go roller skating, like they did for their original second date.
He was determined, he would bring back his baby no matter how many dates they do, how many days pass, or years fade away. He will make it so Ciel remembers.
