Next story on the list. I hope you enjoy!

     (Y/n)'s POV

His eyes. How could I forget?

I knew it! I knew I knew it!

I went out for coffee today, and I saw someone that I knew. But I didn't know it. It was sort of subconscious. He had changed so much that I barely recognized him.

But here I am, sitting on my couch and watching Netflix like a loser when it hit me. It hit me so hard that I reflexively grabbed the remote and paused the show. That's why I didn't need to pay for the coffee, it was paid for, by him. He was the person in front of me in line!

He kept his head down. I didn't see his face until he actually got his coffee, turned around, and left. How could I have not recognized him? And it hit me now? One can only be so oblivious...

My coffee cup sat next to me, empty and cold. I picked it up and examined it. I noticed something on the bottom. A phone number! I dialed it quickly and called. It buzzed about twice before I heard a "Hello, this is Rhys."

I covered my mouth, but recovered myself enough to speak. "Hey, you left a number on my coffee."

"Uh... yeah. I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to talk sometime."

     "What time, and where?"

"The park closest to the coffee shop where I saw you, at five thirty?" Rhys asked.

"Sure, see you there," I said, barely audible.

     "Bye," he said.

He hung up, and I exhaled excitedly.

The reason I wanted to see him so much is mostly because he was the anonymous boy who helped me throughout school. He only revealed himself at graduation, or rather, the staff did. I swore to myself I would never forget his name. I haven't seen him since then.

And now, more than ten years later, I see him again. Just for a couple of seconds, but he's still there. And from what I'm guessing, he always has been. I've just been too absorbed in whatever I was doing. Not that I'm implying that he's been stalking me, just doing small favors for me. Like buying me coffee.

Even in school. Small favors. The biggest thing he's ever done for me is persuade a bully to leave me alone. Every time he helped me, he would disappear off the face of the planet. The people he was rumored to hang out with wouldn't even tell me his name. They would avoid the question. Probably because Rhys told them to.

Once, I saw him in the hallway. I tried to get to him, but as soon as he turned the corner, he was just... gone. For the longest time, I referred to him as Ghost Boy.

I switched out of my t-shirt and sweatpants and put on a blue flannel, ripped black skinny jeans, and black vans. I brushed my hair, and put on mascara and eyeliner. By the time I was finished, it was four thirty. I've got another hour to waste.

I got a text message from Rhys. Just one word, though.

     Razzbowski.

I was very confused, but I googled it. A YouTube channel popped up first. I tapped on it.

     No way.

     He has a YouTube channel.

I tapped on an Undertale video because I loved that game and had played it myself, and soon enough, I found myself having to sit down from laughing too much. He had animated the story with his fantastic editing, and made the video his own.

Before I knew it, it was time to start walking. I grabbed a small brown leather purse, just for my wallet and phone.

I walked to the park and saw Rhys sitting on a shaded bench, watching birds eat some seeds off of the ground. I caught his eye, and he gestured to me to sit next to him.

"Why did you invite me here?" I asked once I had sat down.

"To tell you how I feel," Rhys replied.

"So how do you feel?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"First, how have you been?" Rhys asked.

"Pretty good," I said awkwardly. "How about you?"

     "Same as you."

"Thanks for the coffee," I said.

"No problem. I knew you wouldn't recognize me right away, so I took it as an opportunity. I haven't had enough courage to approach you, though," Rhys said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Why? It's been more than a decade! Granted, we went to different universities, but that's a long time to hold back!" I exclaimed.

"I just didn't want to ruin anything between us," Rhys said quietly.

I felt my face grow hot. "Oh."

"And to get to why I invited you to talk to me. Um, well..." Rhys paused. "Ever since I first saw you, I thought you were gorgeous. I know I've stayed anonymous, and I've only been a small character in your life. I've changed an enormous amount, so have you. You've changed for the better, though."

I shook my head. "No, you've definitely changed for the better, too. It takes a great deal of courage to approach a girl like you are doing."

"Point is," Rhys started, "I really like you, and I would like to go on a date with you."

I knew I started to blush a long time ago. My hands were folded tightly in my lap. I smiled and said, "Sure, I'll go on a date with you."

Rhys was obviously pleased with himself and relieved that I hadn't said no. I stood up, and Rhys stood with me. We just looked at each other for a few moments, then I said, "I like your YouTube channel, by the way."

"Do you?" Rhys asked, a little taken aback by my sudden compliment.

"Yeah. I really enjoyed your Undertale videos," I answered. "You're hilarious."

"I guess you didn't expect that from what used to be quiet, keeps-to-himself Rhys, didn't you?"

"I didn't," I said. There was another gap in the conversation.

"Well, I'll be seeing you... um... does Tuesday at four o' clock work?" Rhys asked.

"Sure, I'll make it work," I said as I smiled sweetly.

     "Does a movie sound alright?"

     "That sounds fantastic."

"See you at the theatre, then," Rhys said as he walked away. I barely detected a wink.

A date with good old Ghost Boy. I think I'll enjoy this.
