Dove and Barkfoot went away, "what happened there?" Barkfoot meowed calmly. Dove shook her head, ashamed, "night is just.... he is mad because he doesn't want me to go anywhere because I'm his mate and I'm having his kits," dove explained. Barkfoot licked the back of her ear, " tell him how you feel and also, from the day I saw you I-I-I loved you I never knew how to say that," Barkfoot meowed embarrassed. Then she saw a black tom come out of the bushes, "ohh so I guess I'm no longer your mate?" Night neowed fury blazing in his eyes. "No night!" Dove meowed but night wouldn't let her finish. The black tom leaped at Barkfoot making him fall to the ground. "She is my mate! And she is carrying my kits! You can't go near her or I will kill you! And don't oh DARE become her mate!" Night snarled. Without thinking dove leaped at her mate, letting Barkfoot escape. Barkfoot ran. "What was that for!" Dove spat. Night said nothing and walked away. Then dove felt a pain. "Night! My kits!"
