Chapter 5 | The Whistling Meadow

After Flaw and Myu spent the day with eachother, they both went back to the river to go their sepret ways, again.

"So we're meeting here this spring with our cubs on the first day of no snow correct?" Myu questioned before they left

"Of course, we can meet each other's mates and the cubs ." Flaw said half heartedly. Throughout the afternoon they had gotten closer than before. Both of them fell harder for eachother, sad that they already had mates.

"Until then Flaw?"

"Yes, until then." Then they went their ways to their mates.

You see, Flaw and Myu still had a deep love for eachother, but they never let it surface. But also, they dearly loved their mates because mating was important to them. They were still young only two winters old, almost three. For us humans, they are young and stupid. For them, their young yes, but they they have more feeling, more heart. And that's why they had enough love for two people.

As Flaw went back to her cave, she couldn't help but feel sad and lonely. Even though she had two tigers living her.

When Flaw walked in, Code was upset. He was pacing around the den and blowing air out of his mouth. When he saw Flaw his expression got worse,"FLAW!WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! I'VE BEEN WORRIED SICK!"

You would think he wasn't worried sick by the way he yelled at her but she knew it was just because he was afraid of losing her and the cubs that were inside her stomach.

"It's ok Code, I was just hanging out with my best friend before the hard winter comes." Flaw explianed smoothly

"Tell me next time ok. I haven't eaten all day!" Flaw knew his eating problem wasn't her fault, but she still felt bad

"I'm sorry. I was just, I don't know, happy I was seeing him after a couple months."

That triggered something in Codes mind, she was spending time with a male that wasn't him,"A MALE! FLAW! HE COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO YOU! HE COULD HAVE-"

"He already has a mate and they have already mated, it's fine. I'm fine, it's not like we're in love."Flaw Said casually

"Okay,okay,okay. Okay, just let me sort this out, I need time." Code walked around the den and soon he walked out.

"I messed up didn't i?" Flaw questioned herself before she fell asleep.

As Myu walked into the his den without food, Rose knew something had happened.

"Myu where is the food?" Rose questioned him

"Oh, well something came up today and I missed hunting because of it. I'll get food tomorrow." Myu responded casually.

"I haven't had food all day Myu. So what was so important that you missed hunting? hm?"

Myu didn't want to tell her that he was with the girl in his dreams so instead he said, " I saw my mom by the river and she was happy to see me. She asked if I could spend the afternoon with her and I said yes because I haven't seen her in a year."

"Oh, u do guess family is important. Sorry for going off on you like that."

Myu laughed," If you were gone all day, I would go off on you too."

"Okay then Myu, I'm going to sleep for the night. When I wake up I will have food in front of me right?"

"Right"
