When the world gets too heavy, put it on my back.  I'll be your levy.  You are taking me apart like bad glue on a get well card..

But it was always you falling for me, now there's time calling for me.  I am the light blinking at the end of the road, blink back to let me know.

I'm a fly trapped in a web, but I'm thinking that my spider's dead.  Oh, lonely little life.  I could kid myself into thinking that I'm fine..

I'm skin and bone, just a cane and a rusty throne.  Oh, the castle's under siege but the sign outside says "leave me alone!"

Brendon fought the urge to rip the paper to shreds.  It was too painful to write, but he needed to get it out.  It'd eat him alive if he didn't...  His mind floated back to the instance this song made him remember.

Brendon laughed, watching the boy before him spin around goofily.  He fell, landing on top of the younger.  "I love you.  You take away all the strain and stress...when I'm with you, it's pure peace.  I never want to go back to the way things were before."  Ryan murmured, pecking a kiss on Brendon's unexpecting lips.  "I...I love you too.  I've been stuck in this town, alone, and when you came, that went away.

"You freed me.  People always bombarded me with questions.  I always put up a shield to block them out.  You...you broke through that shield quicker than I could stop it."  Brendon mumbled, looking down at Ryan.  For once, he was higher up than the tall, lanky boy that he adored so much.

Brendon sighed, disappointed as he drifted back to the present.  Ryan Ross was the boy he had loved dearly.  He still did, in fact.  But, when Brendon need him most, he left.  He ignored every desperate attempt of Brendon's and then left, without so much as a word of explanation.  He left Brendon in his darkest time, and that darkness never lifted.
