Kaelynn's P.O.V.:

"Class, today we will be beginning an exciting new project," Professor Rogers spoke in that obnoxious posh accent. To tell you the truth I was getting tired of the fancy British accents and posh vocabulary, but I guess that's what I get for enrolling at Oxford Medical School. "As usual, we will be going to the Royal Hospital to enhance our studies, but we are giving you a bit more independence. You each will be assigned a patient to look over every day and learn about the disease or trauma that had occurred. This will be carried out for the rest of the semester and perhaps longer if all works out. Any questions? No. Good. I will hand out your patient assignments."

Professor Rogers walked down each row handing out files. Each student flipped theirs open and began scanning through it.

"Miss Daniels," He said as he approached me, "you've got a special case. I will have to give you your assignment at the hospital, in private."

"Why? Am I looking after the Queen or something?" I chuckled.

"No, no. But your patient is under very close surveillance. Just meet me in the lobby." He moved on to the next person.

Why do I always get the special ones? Like last year we had to partner up for an assignment and the guy I was with wanted to do a diorama of the male and female anatomy. Don't get me wrong, I like a good penis sculpture, but it was kinda creepy when my partner wanted to be the model for it.

"I expect to see you all at the hospital at 5:00 sharp. Have fun with this assignment, class dismissed."

We all filed out of the room. I waited outside for my friend, Rebecca. It was our last class of the day, and we always went for coffee, well she got tea, I got coffee, before she would drive us over to the hospital.

"Hey Beck, what's your patient like? Is he hot? Wait is it even a he?" I immediately stormed her with questions. I didn't have my file so I might as well have hers.

"Calm down, CT," she calls me CT after my home state of Connecticut, it pisses me off so she loves it. "It is a he. His name is Brandon. He is 8. And I don't think I should be calling an eight year old fit." She trailed off.

"Well you wouldn't be calling him fit, you would be calling him hot, " I explained. She lightly slapped me. "Um, ow." she glared at me. "Anyway what's wrong with him?"

"Tuberculosis. It's rather strange for an eight year old. What did you get?"

"I'm not sure, Rogers said I had a special case and he had to give it to me in private."

"Is it going to be like the penis guy again?"

"God, I hope not," I laughed.

Royal Hospital, London, England 5:04 p.m.

"Ahh Miss Daniels, come here," Professor Rogers waved me over as soon as everyone went to their assigned room. "I have you're assignment here."

"Thanks." I said reaching for the file.

"Does the name, Niall Horan ring a bell to you at all Miss Daniels?" He questioned.

"Um, no. Sorry."

"Good, that's what I was hoping for. Get to your patient now."

"Ok, see you later." I was confused. I flipped open the file and read the name at the top. Niall Horan.

I don't know if that was a coincidence or not, but whoever this guy is needs security and I have no clue who he is. I read the room assignment. 1,207. On the top floor, of course. I sighed pushed the ten button on the elevator. The doors closed and began their ascent. It never stopped on any other floor.
