A/N : The picture is sort of what you look like. Honestly, it's only the TV head that's required. Enjoy!

^ ^ ^ YOUR POV ^ ^ ^

"I am not ready for this." I tell myself as I stand in front of the highschool. Damson High (that's what it's called, right?), my new school. Let's hope there are no bullies, emos, or cassanovas. Then again, I can't jinx it.

"Hey, neither am I." Marina says casually next to me. Her hands were comfortably set in her jean pockets. Am I the only one who doesn't like wearing jeans (please tell me I'm not)?

Marina is my best/only friend, who coincidentally, lives in the same house. Her family had money trouble, and so they moved in. But once her family got rid of the problem, they didn't bother leaving. Though, I'm not bothered by it! Mari is like a sister to me anyways.

She looks fine, beautiful even. One single, solitary, problem of hers though: SHE'S A FRIGGIN' FOOD HOARDER. The woman is freaking obsessed with hamburgers, yet she's real tall and barely seems to gain weight!

Then you look at me. A girl with a television for a head. Every night, I use my my 'pony tail', which is really just two cables with plugs, and plug myself in to recharge. I'm still technically a human being! I just have a digital face that needs recharging.

"You ready for a new, less-than-uplifting adventure?" I ask her. Mari bounces up and down, excited for the new experience. Too bad the feeling isn't mutual.

"This is one of our new students, miss Y/N L/N, who comes all the way from [Insert Place]." The teacher introduces me. Unfortunately, Marina was arranged to be in a different home room, so I was stuck with these weirdos.

"Would you like to say anything about yourself, miss Y/N?" The teacher asks me. He walks back over to his desk, leaving me to the class.

"Any time we get shown a video in class, I am totally jumping through a window." I joke, trying to lighten the mood. A good portion of the room lets out a hearty chuckle, making me feel only slightly less nervous.

"Please take a seat next to Suzy Q, miss L/N." The teacher tells me, pointing to a pretty average girl. I walk over to the desk beside her, and rested my head in my hands.

"Hey," Suzy taps my shoulder, "That was a pretty funny joke you said up there." I smile at her.

"There's a lot of irony when I watch shows at home, so yeah." I comment, letting out a small chuckle.

"See that boy to your left?" Suzy points to him. He was your average nerd; glasses, trousers, pocket protector, etc. I nod.

"He's my date to the dance. Simon!" She captures his attention.

"Y-y-yes S-Su—Suzy?" Simon stutters, obviously head-over-heals for the girl.

"Hi!" I say awkwardly, giving a nervous smile. The boy gives me a happy smile in return.

"Oh hello Y/N! My name is Simon, as Suzy said." He lets out a lovesick sigh.

"You must really like that girl." I say, glancing back at Suzy. She was gossiping with another classmate, giggling like a schoolgirl. Simon shrugs.

"Is it really that obvious?" Simon asks. I roll my eyes.

"No," I reply sarcastically, "I'm just psychic." The tall highscooler seems intrigued by this.

"Your psychic?" He asks excitedly. I look at Simon, letting out a sigh. This wasn't the greatest first day. I shake my head.

"No Simon," I tell him, "I'm not psychic." I answer, resting my head in my hands once again. He looks disappointed at my answer.

"Oh." Was all he says, just as the bell rang. "Whelp! Have a nice day!" He calls as I walk out the door.

My phone lets out a ding as I sit alone, under a tree, consuming my lunch. Fortunately, the principle let us eat outside, so I got relax while most opted to stay inside.

(M=Marina, Y=You)

M- Hey N/N! What's up?

Y- Nothing much really. I met Suzy Q, and her date to the dance, Simon.

M- Cool! I had to go to the nurse because of a terrible headache I had.

Y- Oh really.

M- Yep. I met this adorable, chubby boy named Tank here though! He's a hamburger-aholic like me!

Y- Yay, ANOTHER MARINA. Just what I need.

M- Hey!

Y- JK. Hey, lunch is over, so I gotta run.

M- Okay. Take the path behind the school into the woods today though.

Y- Alright . . . I'll see you later.

M- Catch you on the flip side!

I studied her text before sticking the phone into my sweatshirt pocket. Take the path behind the school? Doesn't that lead to the woods? I shrug it off. Whatever Marina was leading me into, the situation couldn't be that bad.

I mean, my first day here was going quite well! I think I made two new friends, so I guess I'm doing pretty well. I took my satchel and slung it over my shoulder. I started jogging towards the door so I wasn't late, but some idiot kid rammed into me, knocking me into the ground.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" I shoot angrily.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry. You must be Y/N. I'm Cory." Says the teen with the camera face.
