When I figured out who kidnapped me, I saw something move in the shadows. The killer approached me. I noticed something in their hand. When they stepped into the light, I saw what the object was. A phone. I wondered what they were going to do with a phone.

Film my torture and send it to my friends and family? Let me make one last phone call? There's no telling.

They put the phone up to their mouth. They began to speak. They were using a voice changer.

"Hello, Kayla."

"Why did you bring me here?"

"Wow. Someone's a bit spitfire."

"Answer the question."

"To make sure you knew that I was going to win this game."

"What game?"

"Don't you get it? I've been playing a game this whole time. I dropped hints about who I am."

"What do you mean?"

"I'll let you know when the time is right."

The killer walked back into the shadows. I hadn't noticed that the ropes holding my wrists to the chair had come loose. I managed to pull one wrist through the small hole. I untied my legs and ran. I don't know where I was running, but I did find the exit.

When I walked outside, I texted Alyssa, Peyton, and Sophia my location.
