Second month pregnant

Every light that flashed by the window, I was hoping it was him. Excited to see his cheeky smile, and red hair.

Like always.

Finally, I see headlights pull into the driveway. I zoom to the door and watch excitedly for the man I've loved for the last three years.

"Red!" I yelled as I hugged him tightly as he walked in the door. He rubbed my head. "My beautiful Blessing. Doing any better?" he implied as he set the car keys on the hook near all our belongings we seem to forget now and then.

I almost forgot why I wasn't at work. I felt a little sick, so I was sent home. "Yes, sir, I'm doing fine." I giggled as I watched him sit on the couch. I sat next to him. He put his arm around me and sighed. "Just imagine, we'll be parents. You, me, and the other one on the way." he put his other hand on my stomach. I laughed. "Oh, Michael. You're going waaay too far. First of all, I'm only two months pregnant, and we have quite a ways to go, secondly.." I paused then looked up at him. "What if I'm not a good mother?"

He looked down at me. "Blessing, you are one of the sweetest girls I know. Ok, the SWEETEST girl I know, I must correct that." he winked, then went on. "I trust no one other than you to help me raise our baby.. and I hope he..or she..is as beautiful as you." he remarked. The answer to my question made me blush. He did really know how to make me smile.

He grinned. "Tell you what. I'll take the day off tomorrow, and we'll do something..special." he said. I burst with happiness. "Really?!" I beamed. "Well of course, love. I know you've been feeling down since you've been under the weather lately." he said as he brushed the hair off my cheek. I smiled and nodded.

He sat up and stretched. "I'm heading to bed, coming?" he smirked at me. I rolled my eyes. "Fine fine, but I'll be keeping you up though..I had a long nap." I inquired.

"This is why I love you, Bless."

"Oh really, and maybe that I make the best cinnamon rolls?"

"Ok, maybe that too."
