All about you

Laura’s P.O.V

“Olly” I shouted up the field. I unlocked the gate and stepped into the mud. I trekked up the field to get my pony in for the night. Before I could get half way up the hill I saw my pretty boy trotting over to me. “There’s my little old man” I brought him in and my mum followed me with her horse. The sound of hooves clopping up the road caught my attention, I turned around to see my bestest friend in the whole wide world. The universe in fact! Alex was riding Jovi. She stopped outside my stable and Jovi nudged my pocket. I fed him a polo and started talking to Alex. “What do we have to do tomorrow? I know we have to go and get them people but what else do we have to do?” I asked her. I was talking about Uni. We were asked to show a group of people around the place and introduce them to certain people but apparently in past years people have been asked to stay with them. 24/7. This was our 3rd and final year in University and I couldn’t wait to leave though and finally be free in the big wide world.

“I don’t actually know. I was speaking to Wyatt and he said that when he had to meet people he had to stay with them because they ‘wouldn’t know anyone and turn into weirdo’s’ which I found pretty harsh but y’know” She answered. I nodded and let her leave to put Jovi away. I turned back to my own horse giving him cuddles and teaching him tricks. At 7pm I got back into my mums car and we drove back home. When I walked through the door to my house I was greeted by my nana’s 2 dogs and my own 2. Lexi and Frankie.  “hello puppy heyo” I baby talked to them before leaving them to go in the shower. Horse scent isn’t always the best perfume. After my long shower I hopped out and got into my fuzzy jammies and sat down to watch ‘the McFly show’ like I have 1 million times before. My phone buzzed on the arm of the chair and I picked it up and read my message.

***Message from ALEX: Hey girl you so fineeeeee ;)  x

I laughed at the text, I knew she was pretending to be some person and I joined in.

***Message to ALEX: Hey girl! No YOU so fineeeee ;) x

 I watched the boys first song and a bit of them talking before the next text came through.

***Message from ALEX: hey girllllll mind if I call you up and come over? X

***Message to ALEX: Yeah but no red wine sitting on the sofa!x

We were referring to ‘live my life’ by the runaway state. We talked a bit more whilst I finished watched the programme before I went to get some food out of the fridge to take upstairs with me. When I got there I found that my TV was already turned on with my favourite programme on so I watched it until 10:30pm and went to bed ready to be up early in the morning to get to University and meet the people who were going to be here.

Alex’s P.O.V

I woke up at half seven and jumped into the shower and shampooed and conditioned and went over my usual shower routine before climbing back out and getting dressed. I just threw on a comfy baggy jumper, no need to dress all fancy! I applied my make up and went for a natural look and then I scraped my hair into a pony tail and made my way slowly downstairs to drink the cup of tea my mum made me. I drank it quite quickly before jumping off the stool picking up my bag, phone and keys then headed out the door and got into my mini that was parked on the drive. I stuck the keys in and started the engine and set off for Laura’s house with wrecking ball booming out of the radio. 20mins later I arrived at her house and beeped the horn, she emerged from her house a few moments later and jumped into my car and we made our way to uni.
