Chapter 3

Alex’s POV

I arrived back home safe and sound and Dougie left to go back the boys house. I went upstairs and had a shower before heading back downstairs in my pyjamas and turned the telly on. I was watching ‘friends’ when my phone buzzed. I had a text from Laura. It was just about a conversation we’d had ages ago and we only just remembered it. I was laughing like a mad person and my mum came into the room and looked at me like I was crazy,

“what on earth are you laughing at Alex?” She asked me.

“Nothing” I laughed “just a joke Laura reminded me of, it’s funny and you’ll never know what it is” She just looked at me and walked away back into the kitchen where she was making her tea. I’d already ate at the McFly house. I watched 3 episodes and my Sister came and watched it with me. I stayed awake until 10pm then went to bed ready for my last day of uni for the week. Friday. I had a lecture to attend to and I was driving Laura in because her mum needed the car. I woke up at 9am and got dressed in my jeans and a t-shirt. No need to dress all fancy just for uni. I sorted my hair out and ate my breakfast and when that was done I picked up the keys to my car and went outside and climbed in. I drove the 10min drive to Laura’s with the radio blasting ‘love is on the radio’ I sang along and when Laura got in she did too. We drove into Newcastle to get to the campus stopping only to pick up a starbucks each and we arrived with 10mins to spare. We decided to just go straight inside, there was only 4 other people inside. McFly. They were talking fairly loud so we could hear them but they didn’t hear us enter the room.

“So after the lecture you take Laura to the restaurant where you ‘bump’ into me and Alex, make it clear you didn’t really bump but don’t say ‘ it was all a plan’ and then when we’ve finished our meal that’s when we ask them, at the same time yeah?” Dougie said. I looked at Laura

“Just say ‘be me girlfriend aye?” Harry said practicing his Geordie accent really really badly. Me and Laura subtly coughed and they turned around and Danny and Dougie went red.

“Seriously?! Can’t anything just go right?” Danny complained and we laughed.

“Don’t worry we’ll act oblivious until then and we’ll even act surprised” Laura told him and turned to Harry and explained to him just how awful his accent was.

We sat through the lecture and when it was done we went to the restaurant which happened to be McDonalds and ‘bumped’ into the others. We got through the whole routine and then we left, the group separated out, me and Laura went to hers to get ready for the boys party and they went back to theirs so they could set everything up for the party. The house was going to be full of celebrities. The vamps would be there, One Direction were invited, Little Mix, Boyce Avenue, Green Day, Paramore, the Blink 182 guys would be there, Every Avenue were to be there (some of the bands have split up but I like them so they’re in here) Another less known band would be there too North road. (I think everyone should listen to North Roads covers!) . And of course McFly would be there and Gi was coming with Izzy and Carrie. That was only part of who would be there. We were a tad nervous about going; we didn’t know any of these people but the boys. The good thing was they had planned to introduce us to Gi, Izzy and Carrie and they wanted to stay with us to get to know us. That made me feel a bit better considering they all seemed so nice.

Harrys POV

I was so excited. We were having a party full of our friends and family and obviously I was most excited about that last part, getting to see Izzy was what was getting me through the week. It turned out that some of the lectures could be so boring! I was in the kitchen setting out food and drinks and Tom was sorting out music while Danny and Dougie did nothing useful, they just sat around discussing their newly formed relationships, Alex and Laura seriously changed those lads, it was a good change, like making a naughty kid the most well behave kid you’d ever met. I left them to it for 2 reasons, they were quiet and 2, they were happy. I’d just finished setting our the food when my phone buzzed. It was a message saying that they were able to come to the celebration. We used the excuse of a celebration because we just wanted to have a party. It was 6pm and Izzy and the girls would be here any minute now. I left the kitchen and went to talk to Danny and Doug. They were still talking about Alex and Laura so it was relief when the doorbell rang, don’t get me wrong, I love the girls but hearing those two talk about them none stop it gets kind of boring. I left to answer the door. I opened the door to find Gi, Carrie and of course my Izzy. I hugged her the second I saw her, being rude ignoring Carrie and Gi. When I let go I said hello to the other to and offered to take Gi’s bag because heavy lifting isn’t good at this time. The girls came inside and I told them Alex and Laura should be here soon. Tom must have heard Gi and Carrie because the next thing I heard and saw was Tom racing down the stairs and crushing his Wife and Sister in a hug. Danny and Dougie greeted them and we were all just talking for a bit until the doorbell rang again, this time it was Alex and Laura. Dougie answered the door.

“Hello Ladies” He said with a bow. There was something seriously strange with that boy, I thought to myself. The girls came in and we all said ‘hi’ to them.

“Alex, Laura, Gi, Izzy and Carrie” Dougie introduced the girls pointing to each of them as he said their names. Straight away they were chatting away and everyone knew they would get along.

Laura’s POV

The party started and looking around I saw Busted, One Republic and Green Day. I stuck with Gi, Izzy, Carrie and Alex and occasionally spoke to some of the celebrities who made an effort to talk to us. They had original came over to talk to the others but were actually really nice and spoke to us. The music was blaring out of the speakers and everyone was dancing and having a good time, some people had too much to drink already. The boys were jumping from person to person to make sure they saw everybody.

“So, you met the boys through Uni” Carrie asked us and we told her that was the case and how at first we got stuck with the most annoying people ever! Throughout the party we spoke about our love of Disney and music. Eventually Danny came over to see us. The girls all left and it was just me and Danny and we just messed about and danced about ignoring everyone else around us and then suddenly out of nowhere he kissed me and then whispered his usual ‘its all about you’ 

It was so strange, one day just being a fan dreaming of meeting the boys and now here i was kissing Danny Jones and being able to call him my boyfriend. My life had instantly turned great! I had made seven new friends who i knew would last a lifetime.
