Disclaimer: I own none of theses characters or the TV show Supernatural.

I also didn't come up with the idea of the tattoo. It's from a different soulmate AU where Dean and Cas have matching necklaces instead so credit to them. However, I did draw the cover art.

This is set after the angels fall in Season 9, but there are a few changes. Cas is living in the bunker with Sam and Dean, Dean is openly bisexual, and well obviously it's a soulmate AU.

Dean has slept with lots of people. Girls and guys. But he has never found someone with a tattoo matching his. Until now.

Dean quickly tugged his jeans over his hips as someone knocked on the door to his bedroom. He had been looking at his soulmate tattoo. A emerald flame surrounded by bright blue wings.

"Dean? Can I come in?" His brother called.

"Yeah, go ahead Sammy." He opened his laptop to make it look like he had been researching a case.

Sam opened the door and walked into Dean's room. He pulled the chair out from Dean's desk and sat on it.

"I'm worried about Cas." Sam sighed. "I knew the fall would affect him, but I didn't think he would take it so hard. He only leaves his room to go to the washroom, and I know he waits until he thinks we're asleep before he does. He hasn't eaten in days!"

Dean leaned back against his headboard, moving his laptop off his lap. "I've noticed." He muttered. "I just don't know what to do. I've tried talking to him, but he won't let me in his room and doesn't answer when I talk."

"Maybe you could try again?" Sam asked. "I know you two share some sort of profound bond or some shit. If either of us has a chance of talking to him, it's you."

Dean nodded. "You're right Sammy." He got up. "I think I'll make some dinner for him and then I'll try to talk."

Sam nodded and they both left Dean's room. Dean saw Sam turn down the hall and head for his bedroom, but Dean went to the kitchen. he grabbed some hamburger from the fridge and started preparing some dinner.

He mixed all the spices and things into the hamburger meat and started shaping them into patties. He dug through the cupboards until he found the frying pan with a grill on it. Turning on the stove, he started placing the patties onto the grill.

He grabbed the bag of hamburger buns they had in the fridge and put two in the toaster. Once they were toasting, he grabbed a spatula and flipped the burgers.

After a few minutes the toaster popped up and he took out the buns. He grabbed two plates and laid the buns out as the burgers finished cooking.

He took them off the stove and laid them on a plate. He took and fork and put a patty on each bun he set out. He grabbed the toppings he liked on his burgers and put them on top, also adding them to the burger he made for Cas.

He grabbed the two plates and started walking down the hallway to Cas's room. They had set up a small table next to the doors of each of their rooms so they didn't forget who was in each room. Dean set the burgers down and knocked on Cas's door.

"Hey Cas. It's Dean. I assume you already knew that, but whatever. Um, I wanted to talk to you." No answer. "Listen, I know your in there because I've been home all day and you haven't left you room in forever."

He heard Cas sigh, but the ex-angel still didn't reply. "Buddy, please answer the door. I want to be help you, but I can't if you won't let me in. He heard footsteps, quietly padding towards the door. The lock clicked open and Cas stood there looking at Dean.
