Ball Invitations

"I can't wait, today is electives day!" Rose woke up excitedly. "Yup" Iris said from the bathroom. "What electives did you pick?" Rose asked.  "I picked Poetry, my mom pick Evil Spells 101, and Dictatorship" Iris sighed.

"Yikes" Rose said french braiding her hair. Rose and Iris walked to the cafeteria for breakfast. "Hey over here" Ruby yelled. Iris and Rose sat at the table, Ruby and Amarog were sitting right next to each other.

"Well look at you two love birds" Rose smirked "All thanks to you guys" Amarog said happily. "Yeah Yeah I know we're amazing, let's eat I'm taking Rose to cooking first period" Penny started eating her pancakes.

"Alright so this is where Cooking is" Penny walked Rose through the door. "Ah you must be my new student, I'm Mr. Gingerbread" said a man that looked like a giant Gingerbread man cookie.

"All right we are going to start with something simple, make me the best pasta ever!" Said Mr. Gingerbread. "How is that easy?" Rose asked, Penny laughter as she put on her apron, she handed Rose one. "Mr. Ginger is fun but he's pretty tough, but since your new I'm aloud to help you a little."

Penny led Rose to the cabinet "you can use this to get the general idea but you can't copy it exactly" Penny handed Rose a paper, she nodded and started to work.

An hour later

"Alright, let the taste testing began" Mr. Gingerbread sat down with a fork. Penny presented a savory pasta with Alfredo sauce, chicken, veggies, and pennie pasta. Mr. Gingerbread took a big bite of it "mmmhh, Penny! This is a culinary master piece" Mr. Gingerbread took another bite "thank you" Penny smiled and took her plate.

Rose was next, hers was angle hair pasta, with marinara sauce, cheese, and chicken. "I just wanted to mention this is my first time making pasta" Rose nervously put down her plate. Mr. Gingerbread smiled and took a bite. "Hmmm, a bit undercooked and a little too simple, bust not bad for your first dish" Mr. Gingerbread smiled.

"Thank you" Rose took her dish, "good thing you were new, other wise he is super harsh" Penny said sternly.  Rose violently nodded knowing she understood.

Bell rings

Rose walked to her dorm, her next class was Naturology so she was aloud to bring King. She put a leash on him and led him out side. The class was in the schools green room. She sat down at  down at a desk.

Rose recognized a bunch of the fairy tales, Rose was the only princess in the class. King patiently sat next to Rose, a boy with blond hair and blue eyes and a girl with platinum blind hair and rabbit ears next to him, "hey you must be new  I'm Albert Wonderland and this is my girlfriend Bonnie Rabbit"boy said.

"Oh Alice in Wonderland and The White Rabbit?" Rose said, they both nodded. There was stomping, a giant appeared in front of the kids. "Welcome to Naturology, your first assignment, study the following plants and match them to the names" The giant groaned, he sat down and started reading a book called "How to pretend you care."

"Don't mind him, he's doing this to pay off his debt to society" Albert rolled his eyes. Rose laughed and walked to the plants with her clip board full of names. She heard  King growling, than stop.

Rose looked down to see King was eating something and being petted. "Beautiful Border Collie mix" Rose heard a familiar voice, but she focused on the plants. "Uh yeah thanks, how'd you know? most people think he's a pure Collie"

"Oh I know my animals" the voice said. Rose faced who who ever was talking. "Gale!?" Rose said in shock and pulled King away. "You!? What the hex are you doing here, Royals don't take this class" Gale said angerly.

"Ok the name is Rose Beast and I can take what ever class I want" Rose crossed her arms. "Shouldn't you be taking Home Ec, or ball room dancing" Gale mimicked the classic dance. "Um I don't dance, and I love the animals and nature so I don't see why I shouldn't take this class" Rose noticed King still chewing.

"What did you feed my dog!?" Rose checked Kings pulse to make sure he wasn't being poisoned "a treat I made my self, it's safe for all animals" Gale fed another treat to a fox. "You have a fox!? She's adorable" Rose smiled. "Her name is Trixie" Gale said angerly.

"Gale, no one would donate" a Marry Man walked up. "Donate for what?" Rose asked. "For his charity to the poor and the animals" the boy said. Bonnie walked to Rose "don't fall for it Rose, it's not really a charity, the money is for his own selfish needs."

"Seriously you too, come on, just a dollar" Gale shook the bucket. "Not gonna happen" Bonnie scoffed and walked away. "Well I doubt you deal donate" Gale said coldly at Rose. "Why do you judge me so quickly?!" Rose screamed. "Ha see, all you royals are the same, I'm not giving you any special treatment princess" Gale walked away.

"Ugh that boy makes my blood boil" Rose felt her eyes turned red, King barked to snap her out of it.

Lunch

"How was Evil Spells 101?" Rose asked sitting down. "Evil, what else" Iris ate her sandwich. "Well Rose here made her first pasta" Penny punched Rose in the arms.

The head master passed out white envelopes to every student. "What are these sir?" Chris asked, "I got a letter this morning from a student, who wants to hosting the first ball of the year, these are your invites"

"Who?" Rose asked "the student does not want to be named" the head master kept handing out invitations"

They opened the invitation it read. You are cordially invited to Fable Academy's first ball of the year. This saterday at 7 pm sharp, dress formal, please bring extra money there will be food.
P.S pets are allowed.

"Yay my first ball, I can't wait! Wait a minute, is it going to be super lame and all sofistivated" Rose sighed.

"Oh when Headmaster Grim plans it yeah, but most of the time when the students plan it, it's fun and upbeat" Iris said. "It also means we are catering" Chris read off the invite and looked at Penny. "Yes!" She high fived Chris.

Chris stared at the invitation, he was nervous because he knew this was his chance, the perfect opportunity. And he decided to take it he tapped Rose's shoulder to get her attention "yeah?" She said. Chris shushed her, he pointed to the exit of the cafeteria. Chris got up and left.

Rose immediately got excited, "hey um I have to use the restroom really quick" she got up and walked away. Rose looked outside and saw Chris at the end of the hall. "So did you want to tell me something?" Rose asked. "Yeah, but it's too important to ask here, can you meet me at the café after school? " Chris whispered.

"Uh yeah sure" Rose tried hard not to squeal, "Thanks, see you then" Chris walked away. When he turned the corner he heard a high pitched squeal. He stopped for a second, then shrugged and kept walking.
