(A/N) I don't actually know Jinx's backstory, all I know is that a different canon version of her has cancer.

Blood and dirt covered Jinx's face, but she couldn't help but let out an exhilarated giggle as she strolled towards her prey. She made a show of taking her time, gently pulling a metal collar out of her small backpack then aggressively clamping it around the boy's neck.

Slowly, she backed up to fully view the scene in front of her. She closed her eyes and breathed it in, pleasantly surprised that it was still there when she opened them. A gleeful yet devilish smile spread across her face.

She strut towards her latest masterpiece- Kid Flash uncomfortably twisted among a dozen wooden crates, covered in blood, sweat, and dirt. Sure, some of that blood belongs to Jinx, but all that mattered was the winner in the end. The sizzling and bubbling on his calf was a little sickening, even for her, but all is fair in love and war. And this was war.

Jinx crouched in front of Wally and listened to his heavy, uneven breaths for a moment, stared into his closing eyes. "Awh," she pouted, sticking out her bottom lip, "Where's that shining personality of yours? No pick up lines for your favorite evil beauty?"

Wally opened his mouth to speak, a pathetic smirk weakly remaining on his lips, but found a burning in his throat where his voice should be. An exasperated "You're beautiful, but not evil," escaped before the room was blurring and Jinx's voice sounded further and further under water. His eyes rapidly darted around the room as the corners of his vision began to darken, suddenly engulfing his eyesight as if someone flipped a switch.

He last remembered Jinx's tentative face.

Wally woke with a long, pained gasp and a throbbing headache. Or rather an entire body ache. Adrenaline poured back into his system as he quickly sat up, realizing that his hands were handcuffed and chained to a cement wall behind him. A shiver went down his spine, his dulled senses finally acknowledging the cold atmosphere surrounding the exposed skin on his back and chest.

He began fidgeting, gritting his teeth at the pain, when the door suddenly opened. Wally shot to his feet but quickly collapsed back to his knees, his head spinning from fatigue and agony.

"You're in no condition to stand, Wallace."

Wally released a shuddering breath and looked up, "and who's fault is that?"

"All mine, my love." Jinx closed the door behind her and gracefully sat beside her prisoner, opening a first aid kit in her lap. Wally couldn't help but notice the cast on her wrist and still feel a little bad about it.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"The collar restricts the Speed Force, not just your speed, which is why you're not healing." She took out a multitude of sprays, wipes, burn creams, and gauze. "I can't let infections kill you, that's my job when this is all over."

Wally chuckled and shook his head, immediately regretting the action when it sent a pulse to his temples. "What are you even doing, Jinx? What's the point in all of this?"

Jinx didn't spare a glance at his face as she began wordlessly cleaning Wally's wounds.

"You don't want to kill me, I know you don't. It's still not too late for you to change, it's never too-"

A pained screamed escaped through Wally's grit teeth as the third degree burn on his calf was being tended to. Jinx found that the noise wasn't as satisfying as she thought it'd be. In fact, she flinched.
