"So... it goes... anywhere??" Lydia gaped as The Doctor flicked switches on the TARDIS console.
"Anywhere in time and space." The Doctor replied.
"Holy mother of God... so... where are we going??" Lydia questioned as the TARDIS engines roared.
"The beautiful planet of Dalakabis 9." The Doctor said.
"The what??" Lydia gasped.
"You'll see. Here." The Doctor said, and the TARDIS engines stopped abruptly. They stepped out of the TARDIS and saw...
"A manky old house. You've taken me across all of space and time... to a manky old house." Lydia said, disappointed. The Doctor rolled his eyes and shoved his hands in his pockets.
"This isn't just a house. It's the Universe House!" The Doctor explained, leading Lydia towards the house.
It was rotten, and clearly very very old. Somehow though, a faint red glow was holding the damp wood together.
"The Universe House? What's that?" Lydia asked, peering into a darkened window.
"Ages ago, the Jagaroth created this as a prison for intercalated criminals. It's since been run down and shut down." The Doctor said.
"I'd say it's still running..." Lydia said, a terrified look on her face.
"Why's that?" The Doctor asked.
Lydia gulped.
"Because someones staring at us through that window." Lydia stuttered.
"What?" The Doctor said, shocked.
But before Lydia could say anything more, a brilliant blue light lassoed around The Doctor and pulled him through the air.
The light seemed to be coming from the Universe House, and the Doctor slammed into the wall.
He disappeared in a blue flash... only to reappear inside the Universe House. He tumbled across the floor, looking around straight away.
The interior of the house was a metallic white room with one black door. And it was open.
"Who's there? What's going on here?!" The Doctor yelled.
There was a clicking sound from behind him and, recognising the language, he turned around slowly to see a wounded, scarred Tritovore pointing a futuristic gun at his head. From outside the house, Lydia was running around the house trying to find an entrance.
"Doctor?! Where are you?" She yelled, kicking the wall of the house.Meanwhile, The Doctor was held at gunpoint.
"I once had a bet that a Tritovore could never be imprisoned. That they were peaceful. I clearly lost." The Doctor said.
"Analysing language." A robotic voice said. It came from a small box on the Tritovore's chest.
"English has been recognised. Uploading language now." Said the box.
"You... are... The Doctor." The Tritovore said raspily, "You... are... my hostage."
"Oh." The Doctor said, "I've definitely lost the bet."
