(BTW: Reuben is still alive in this story)

Jesse sat up on her bed and rubbed her eyes. 'Oink?' Reuben walked up to her and nudged her with his nose.

"Hey there, Bud!" She said, petting his head.'Oink!' he squealed.

Jesse got up and brushed her hair, then put a yellow hairclip to keep her hair out of her face. Reuben walked up to her, holding her clothes in his mouth.

"Ha, thanks, Reuben" She quickly changed into her normal clothes: A white and red shirt and overalls.

'Oink?' Reuben opened the door and peeked his head out into the rest of the tree house.

Jesse followed him.

"Huh," She said, "they must have left already." Reuben walked over to the couch and saw a note. 'Oink!'

"Oh, thanks Reuben!" Jesse read the note: Hey Jesse! We went to the temple earlier than planned. Meet us there! -Lukas

Jesse went back to her room and put on her armor.

"C'mon, Reuben." She said, grabbing her enchanted sword. They climbed down the ladder and walked to the temple.

She opened the door, but saw no one in there.

"Hello? Guys! You there?" Jesse called. She walked into the library and tried calling them again, "Guys? Lukas? Axel? Olivia? Petra? You there?"

And there, standing behind the enchanting table holding the book of the Order of the Stone, stood Herobrine. He wore a blue shirt and had no pupils.

Jesse gasped.

"H- Herobrine?! But Notch... he- he defeated you years and years ago! He banished you...!"

"Well I came back!" He said, his eyes glowing white.

"Wha- What do you want from me?"

"Well, " He said, "you defeated the creature known as the WitherStorm. That caught my attention. That means you must be special."

"But what does this have to do with anything?"

"Well, I decided to...do something. Not necessarilyto test you but..." a book magically appeared in his hands, "a powerful person such as yourself can't be interfering with my plans.

He opened the book and his eyes glowed brighter and their surroundings changed.

"What's happening...?" Jesse said.

Herobrine chanted words louder and louder, and it seemed like everything around them was spinning.

"Jesse!" She heard someone yell.

She recognized that voice immediately.

"Lukas?!"

"Jesse! You have to get out of there!"

Then there was a beam of light. Reuben was squealing, scared.

Then  it all stopped. Reuben looked up at her, scared and surprised.

"Reuben what is it? What happened? What did he do to me?!"

There was a mirror floating in a purple and black aura. She looked into it and screamed.

She had Black and Purple wings. She screamed again.

"Hahahahaha...." She heard the evil laugh of Herobrine behind her.

"What have you done to me!?" Jesse yelled.

"I have cursed you!" He waved his hand and Jesse felt a singeing pain on her shoulder. She rolled up her sleeve and saw a black mark with 2 glowing purple eyes. "Hahaha. You like it? Just a reminder of this curse and that you can die of the consequences."

"How- wha- What?" Jesse stuttered.

"Oh well, you know, the consequences of a curse. For one, you will die if you'renot in possession of this," he said, holding a black and Purple pendant. It was shaped as a teardrop shape, the purple and black swirling around, "because I trust you know you can't solve this riddle and I don't want such a powerful person to die, I'll give it to you."

Jesse put it on. It glowed and so did the mark on her shoulder.

"And the riddle to cure all of this; though I doubt you could solve it, is:

'Something confusing

Something that can be broken

An item that can be lost, devastating, and terrible,

With someone in which you are similar, but not wanting to show it.'

And, he added in a hushed voice, 'the human emotion I hate the most.."

"What was that last part...?"

"Nothing!" Herobrine said.

Jesse started to panic.

"You will die if you do not have this pendant on, and you can transform at any moment, so be aware. Though something can trigger you to transform,  you probably won't want to know it."

"But what did you do to me?!" Jesse yelled.

"I have turned you into the creature you destroyed- The WitherStorm. But not necessarily;  A Withered Version of yourself. You will cause destruction among your friends and your town,  you will kill,  and you have one... no two, weaknesses: The answer to the riddle, or what you used to defeat the Storm- a special enchanted sword stabbed into your center. And I know that yiu are the only one with that enchanted weapon! You will hurt those you love...!"

"No...!" Jesse said.

"And the best part? Each time you transform, a new feature will appear! Also, this can become permanent if not fixed!"

"No!" Jesse yelled.

"Hahahahaha...!" Herobrine laughed as he disappeared into the shadows.

"Reuben?" Jesse asked, "Are you okay?" Reuben oinked and cuddled with her legs, Happy she was okay.

"Do I still have the- The wings...?" Jesse said. Reuben looked and shook his head 'No'. She sighed in relief.

"Jesse!" Lukas said, running up to her, along with the others. Jesse was kneeling down, weak and tired.  He helped her up. " You okay?"

"Yeah, thanks..."

"What did he do to you?"

"Er, um... I'd rather not talk about it. Maybe later?"

"Oh, OK."

(BTW: Sorry! I couldn't come up with better words for the riddle.)
