Thea's POV
The world seemed to be quiet, the only thing Thea could hear was the snow crunching under her boots. Though the lack of silence made her uneasy, all she could do was set the feeling aside and focus on her goal of finding the town, Osira. Pulling her jacket closer to her Thea let out a sigh.
"Why the hell does this town have to be so far away," Thea muttered. "I swear to god once I get to Osira and Leon isn't there I'm going to murder him." Her eyes desperately searched for something other than the white of the snow.
Soon Thea did find something, a rather large town was no less than two miles head of her.
Thea smiled as she trudged through the snow.
"Finally."Thea stood at the outskirts of Osira, her heart beating faster than ever. Taking in a deep breath, she began to walk forwards. A cold feeling ran through her body as she walked, but Thea was too focused on getting somewhere to warm her up. The town itself was large, which surprised the girl, having thought that it was tiny. As she walked, Thea looked around for a bar or café to warm herself up. Soon she did find a place and almost jumped for joy as the warmth of the fire place washed over her frozen body. Inside the bar, there was no one. Only a single barmaid working on what seemed to be a stack of papers. The barmaid looked up from her work and smiled at Thea.
"Why hello there! Welcome to the Drunken Boar. What can I get you?"
"A pot of tea would be nice." Thea responded. The barmaid smiled before walking off to fulfill the order.Thea let out a sigh as she held the cup of tea to her lips.
"So," the barmaid said. "Are you from around her Miss?" Thea shook her head.
"I'm a traveler, though my friend Leon told me I could live with him here for a while."
"Wait you're Leon's friend?" The barmaid exclaimed. "Your name is Thea right?" Thea nodded.
"Yes it is."
The barmaid giggled, "He talks about you all the time."
"Oh," Thea said, raising one of her eyebrows. "What does he say, if I may ask?"
"Only that you are a rather stubborn person. He should be here soon, Leon always comes at 4 to get a drink." Thea looked over at a clock on the wall.
"3:45," she muttered. "Wait, I haven't asked your name yet."
The girl giggled, "It's Gracie, but most people call me Gray." Thea smiled at her and sipped her tea.
"So Thea, do you have an aura?"
"Yeah, I do." At this remark, Gray's eyes seemed to lighten up.
"Really!" She said, "What color?"
"Green. My quirk is healing. Do you not have an aura?"
"....Yeah sorry. I just love to learn about them."
Thea smiled at the barmaid. "You don't need to apologize. I've just never met someone as excited as you." Gray laughed, she smile seemed to grow.
"Anyway. Leon should be here in any second, so just make yourself at home."
Thea thanked her and sipped more of her tea.
"Maybe," She thought. "This place isn't that bad."The door to the bar creaked open, letting the freezing air in. Gracie looked over at Thea giving her a big smile as a young man approached the bar.
"The usual?" Gracie asked.
"Hell, why not?" The man replied sitting down on a stool. Thea smiled recognizing the voice. She slowly got up from her table in the corner and creeped behind the man.
"How ya doing, Leon?" Thea asked, jumping on the man. Leon jumped up in surprise and glared at her. His blue-green eyes seemed to hold a bit of relief.
"Took you long enough." He joked.
"Well excuse me! But I can't control if it's going to be a blizzard or not!" Thea replied.
Leon laughed, "You are terrible at excuses." He flicked Thea's forehead and smiled.
"But I did miss you." Thea smiled back at her friend.
"Yeah me too."All right! First chapter is out! Please tell me what you guys think, I would love some feed back.
