Thea's POV

As soon as Thea opened the door, she regretted everything. She wanted to stay in the warm bar with Gracie, but Leon pushed her out before Thea could say anything.
"Come on, we need to get you to the Mayor." He said.
"But it's too cold!" Thea whined, as she pushed her long dark brown hair out of her face. "For once I want to stay in the bar!" Leon rolled his eyes and grabbed her hand.
"Don't make me burn you." He threatened, he was known for his rather short fuse. Leon's hand began to become rapidly hotter. Thea quickly pulled her hand away before his fire could really hurt her.
"You're so mean."
Leon chuckled and started to walk ahead with Thea following.
"Where is everyone?" She questioned.
"It's a week of mourning." Leon replied. "The late queen of the Red kingdom used to live here. This is the town's way of honoring her."
"But didn't the queen die a few months ago?"
Leon nodded, "Yeah. News doesn't get here very quickly."
The late queen had died of illness. And her daughter had disappeared shortly after. The Red kingdom claimed that the Yellow king either killed or took the princess. That was how the war started.

"So why do I need to talk to the Mayor? I mean, I'm only staying here for 50 days." Thea asked.
"Because I can't have a undocumented person living with me. Can I?" Leon joked.
"Well I didn't know that I would be leaving." Thea replied.
Leon's smile faded. "I know."
"It's been a year now." Thea looked up at the gray sky. "And I still can't believe she's gone." Thea took Leon's hand and squeezed it.
"Alison died doing what she loved." Leon replied, a sad smile graced his lips. "I couldn't have asked for a better sister." Thea looked down at the snow beneath her feet. A little more than a year ago, Alison, Leon's younger sister was assassinated. Being an woman politician, she had a huge target on her at all times. But what was the worse thing about it was the fact that both Leon and Thea were there when it happened. Thea shivered at the thought of that night.
"We're here." Leon said, snapping Thea out of her thoughts. They stood before a beautiful Victorian style house. The duo walked up the dark green painted stairs towards the red door.
"You ready?" Leon asked. Thea nodded and Leon knocked on the door. A few seconds passed, till a young man opened up. He seemed to be in this mid twenties, having raven black hair and striking brown eyes.
"Hello Leon. Who is the beautiful woman you have with you?" The man asked, his voice as smooth as velvet.
"This is my old friend Thea Argon, she will be staying with me for the next two months." Leon replied. Thea smiled at the raven haired man.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr?"
"Torr Shin. But you can Torr, Miss Argon." Torr said as he smiled at the two. "Now I guess you would want to speak with my uncle and not stand out in the cold." He ushered them in and lead them to a small study. The study was covered with books and paper work. At a small desk in the middle of the room was a middle aged man reading a book. The man looked up from the book and smiled.
"Ah, you must be Miss Thea." He said, rising up from his chair. "I'm the Mayor. Call me Dorian." The mayor held out this hand. Thea smiled shaking his hand.
"Thank you for your hospitality."

Dorian smiled, "Think nothing of it. Now Torr could you get me Miss Thea's paperwork."
"Of course." Torr said before leaving the study.
"He's very nice." Thea commented.
"Yes unlike his brother, Torr loves to meet new people. Now let's get down to business. Miss Thea, what are you're reasons for visiting Osira?"
"I'm looking for someone. I can't tell you who it is because that would be breaking my contact." Thea said, though half of it was a lie. Yes she was looking for someone but she had never signed any sort of paper.
"I understand," The Mayor said. "And again, how long will you be staying here?"
"For about two months, sir."
"Good and do you have any affiliations to the recent war?"
"No sir. I am a healer and not a very good one at that. I have no battle experience." Dorian smiled and jotted something down on some paper. A piece of paper was hung in front of Thea's face blocking her view of the man.
"There you go, beautiful!" Torr said behind her. "Thank you." She replied, trying to hide her flushed face. The mayor handed her a pen and instructed Thea to write certain details down.
