"Ahhh!" She yelled in pain, pink locks flying everywhere.
Pain.
Pain.
Pain.
That was all she could feel.
Pure agonizing pain.
Arba smiled at her with eager auburn eyes. "That's right! Excellent!"
"Keep at that, Sheba!" Falan encouraged, her staff alit purple.
Sheba screamed in agony, the life magic's effects taking place.
"Solomon!" She cried, wincing in pain. Sweat dripped from every part of her body. Her eyes closed shut.
She reached out with clammy hands. "Solomon!" She called again desperately, hoping he would answer.
Larger hands came forth and wrapped around her own. "I'm here, Sheba." He rubbed them soothingly. "I'm here."
He would always be by her side.
"Come on, Sheba! Push!" Arba yelled. "I can see the baby's head!"
Falan exerted more of her magoi, concentrating on lessening Sheba's pain and sustaining her stamina.
Sheba tightened her grip on her husband's hands. "Solomon..." She managed to breathe out.
He gripped her tight as well. "You got this, Sheba." His hands glowed black with strength magic, enhancing her own strength. "We got this."
With that, Sheba gave a final cry and pushed with all her might.
A cry joined hers in the air. A small small cry.
But so very much a real cry. A cry of a new life.
Rukh surrounded the child, praising the new life.
Arba picked up the child and smiled gently at the tiny form. "Congratulations, you two. It's a boy."
"A boy?" Sheba panted out. Dazed cerise eyes gazed at dark royal blue. "Solomon, a boy."
"Yes, Sheba." Solomon chuckled, his fingers curling around hers. "A boy."
After using water and wind magic to clean both the child and Sheba, Arba wrapped the crying form in a soft cloth before handing him to Sheba.
Solomon relinquished his hold on her hands so she could pull their child close, rocking him gently, softly, soothing him enough to stop his first cries. Pink doe eyes gazed softly at the beautiful new life she had brought into this world.
Solomon wrapped an arm around Sheba and the other reached to his son, his son, cupping his cheek softly. Bright royal blue eyes fluttered open to meet dark royal blue.
Solomon smiled oh so brightly. "What should we name him?"
Sheba glowed brightly along with her husband, smiling down on their son, their beautiful baby boy. Rukh danced shiningly around them. "Aladdin. Aladdin is such a good name for him, don't you think?"
Solomon nodded in agreement, eyes shimmering. "A very good name. He is our supreme faith indeed. The sole greatest faith and hope of any kind."
Their sweet prince, Aladdin.
