"Listen Kylie we can go out but we gotta keep it unofficial" those words kept replaying in my head as Grayson Dolan stood in front of me wirh his disappointed brother next to him.
"You are so stupid Kylie" my best friend McKenna told me as she plopped down onto my bed. I sat against the wall as I grabbed my face. "I know" I murmured. "Explain to me why in the hell you decided to date Grayson Dolan "low key" again?" McKenna asked sitting up and looking at me. "Because I really like him and I don't care of people can't know we are dating" I told her. "Kylie you don't understand do you?" McKenna asked seriously. "No what are you talking about?" I asked her now paying more attention. "Why doesn't Grayson wanna be seen with you" Kenna asked me. "I don't know" I said quietly. "Because he is embarrassed that he's dating the schools good girl" Kenna told me. It was true. I was known as the girl who won't ever get in trouble and I was not the slightest bit popular.
"That's not true" I told her standing up. Kenna stood up. "Oh yah then why is he dating Ariana and the whole schools allowed to know?" McKenna told me. He's dating Ariana the schools queen b. "No he's not dating her" I stuttered. "Her Instagram post say otherwise, listen Ky I'm just telling you this because I do not want my bestfriend to get hurt" McKenna finished saying. I wanted to burst into tears. The boy I liked since the 5th grade finally agreed to go out with me yesterday and is now going out with the schools queen b at the same time. "I love him Kenna" I told her as I started to feel a hot tear running down my cheek. "No Kylie you can't cry over Grayson you just can't see this is what I feared" Kenna said walking up to me and embracing me in a hug. "If Grayson can do this well just play his game" Kenna told me.
"If Grayson Dolan wants to date another girl while dating you because it's 'unofficial' you can date any other guy" Kenna said smirking. "No Kenna it's not right I want to stay loyal to him" I told her playing with my hands. "You're an idiot, why would you stay loyal when be couldn't be loyal to you for one fucking day?" She said. She was completely right. "How about I sleep over and tomorrow you're gonna make Grayson wish he had made you're stupid 'unofficial' relationship official" Kenna told me adding quotation marks around unofficial. I didn't like the idea of me dressing to impress guys to make my so called boyfriend jealous. Kenna wasn't going to let it go so I'm just going with it.
