"I'm home!" I shout entering the house.
I take my blazer off, and leave it at the door, along with my heels.
"In the kitchen!" I hear mom's voice.
I smile walking to the kitchen.
"You could greet me you know dad?" I kiss his cheek, and sit down on the stool.
"Well I didn't want to. I think we should get rid of Smokey. He keeps waking me up in the morning by licking my face" dad groans
Just then Smokey runs inside, from the garden.
He barks at me, wagging his tail.
"Who's my good boy?" I bend down, looking at him.
He barks at me.
"Yes you are" I laugh, hugging him.
"You're just lucky he doesn't lick your face." Dad says and I smile.
"Dad, he's going to come with me anyway" I look up at dad.
He frowns.
"Why do you have to leave?" I smile, getting up as Smokey runs back outside.
"She got a new job Seth and she's going away for a little fun with her friends. You should be happy that she isn't handling guns" I cringe
"I hate those" I mumble as the doorbell rings.
"That's Serena" I smile, and walk out of the kitchen. I open the door for her and smile.
"Hey girlfriend" she hugs me.
I laugh at her letting her in.
"Hi uncle Seth. Hi Auntie Gia" she shouts from the hall way.
"It's Angelina too you" dad shouts back.
She laughs, and then turns to me.
"Are you ready?" I nod at her.
"I have to check your suitcase, and make sure you haven't put that in" she points to my clothes.
"Hey! What's wrong with my clothes?" I look at the black pencil skirt, and white lace top.
"You look like a grandma Caitlin" I stick my tongue at her.
"Just because I'm older than you." She smiles holding my hand, and walking upstairs.
We walk into my room, and she turns to me.
"Ethan's coming" I gasp
"What? Are you serious?" She nods
"A few of his friends are coming as well" I frown at her.
"Serena! I'm going to tell uncle Dimitri" she gasps shaking her head
"No! Please. I'm not paying for him or anything. Please Caitlin! I thought I could trust you"she pouts at me.
Mom always says she's exactly like her mom. She said auntie Kara always pouted at moments when she couldn't get her way. Serena is the same.
"Fine. I have to tell my mom though. I thought it was only you and me?" I raise my eyebrow
"Yeah, but you know how I like Ethan, and he asked if I had any plans for Summer holidays. So I said yes, and I told him I'm going to Hawaii. He said if he can come, and I can't say no to that boy. He's so adorable" she sighs dreamily
I groan.
"Fine." She smiles at me.
"Oh. And you can't bring Smokey? Because Ethan's allergic to dogs" I gasp
