When I'm gone

When I'm Gone

The day when I'll be lying on my deathbed,
Don't think I'm already dead.

Yet the fact is full of pain,
That one who goes can never come back again.

But there is one thing which you all can do,
If not me then at least keep my memories with you.

Whether good or bad it is you who will decide,
'Cause I would've done my work and died.

Remember that I've fought my share of hard battles,
May it be a battle of life or on field,
May it be fought using sword or just a shield.

You should now know that in life's battlefield,
When to use a sword or when to use a shield.

So this is what I'm teaching you all before going,
Sometimes defending is better than attacking.

Hope you all keep this in mind and excel in your dreams,
'Cause you are all intelligent enough it seems.

So now just bid me goodbye without shedding a single tear,
And keeping good thoughts in mind go ahead in your career.
