"You think this is it, Riko?" asked Reese, "Maybe, lets go check it out.." I say, signaling Reese and Strike to follow me in. I grab a flash light from my pack and continue to move forward, Reese and Strike do the same. We ventured around the tavern for what felt like forever, then, we finally found it. A small hole at the top of the cave let in some light, it highlighted the piece of treasure that we were looking for. "Holy- You think we should just grab it?" Said strike, "No!" Reese screeched "It might be boobytrapped! You know, like in all those movies and crap!". "Pfft? Boobytraps?" Strike said, he seemed like he was on the verge of laughing "That's just little kid stuff, let's just grab the wand and get out of here! You with me Rik?" I took a second to breathe in deeply, I hated it when he called me Rik. "I agree with Strike, the idea of boobytraps is pretty stupid..." Strike looked at Reese with a smug grin on his face, "But, I also agree with Reese, lets just be careful." . I looked back at the two of them, they nodded, I slowly padded up to the scepter. My heart was beating, all of the legends about the scepter filled my head. I put my paw out..
