The sea dwellers had hidden themselves throughout the city,and as you killed Gamzee,Eridan stepped out of the same alley you were just in,and replied to your comment of victory.

It was like third person.You saw Karkat screaming in agony,watching your lifeless body slowly fall to the ground,blood soaking your clothes and streaming down your torso,and coating the ground.You saw everything,but you were above your body.
Equius went to try to fight Eridan,but he too was struck with another deadly harpoon.Morr sea dwellers ran out of the alleys and ran out from nearby streets when they heard the commotion.They stabbed Nepeta to death,and they strapped John down to the hood of the truck.You weren't able to see what they did,but there was loud screaming,and then it suddenly stopped.You only realized Karkat was still in the truck when you saw pieces of the chrome metal fly up into the air.You swore you could see bright red blood on that reflective chrome.

All over.You lost.
Everybody you loved was dead,killed right in front of you.All of your friends were dead,all of your enemies even.You wondered about Kanaya and Rose and Aradia,but you knee better than to have hope for anybody.
You turned around,and saw everybody,smiling.The only face you didn't recognize immediately was Gamzee,with his face makeup back to normal again and all.
You...sighed.
It was a relief to see everyone normal again,not covered in blood,not broken or battered,not confused or in panic.
