*Today is the day Derek and I find out what we are having. I'm nervous and I'm excited. This is Derek and I's miracle baby. We weren't supposed to be able to have kids of our own so to be pregnant with our little miracle is so amazing but at the same time it is so scary. I am really high risk and I don't wanna lose this baby. We went on vacation so we weren't able to find out the gender earlier. And we wanted to wait a little bit just because we didn't want to know the gender in case anything happened*
Derek: how you doing?
Sky: I'm ok. I'm scared but ok.
Derek: I know. I am too. Honey. Our baby is going to be ok. We're going to be ok. And we will bring home our baby healthy.
Sky: Derek. That's 2 months away. A lot and anything can happen in 2 months. We could lose our baby.
Nurse: sorry to interrupt.
Sky: its ok. We're just talking about the baby.
Nurse: ok. Let's see how miracle baby is doing.
Derek: is everything ok. You don't look like everything is ok.
Nurse: I can't say. let me go get the doctor.
Sky: Derek
Derek: I know.
Doctor: ok. Let's see how we're doing. How far along are you?
Sky: 31weeks. I'll be 32 weeks on Tuesday.
Doctor: ok. First. I'm sorry sky. Derek. Baby A doesn't have a heart beat. And second. The second baby is healthy.
Doctor: I'm sorry about baby A.
Sky: what are they?
Doctor: baby A was a boy and baby B is a girl.
Sky: babe. We're having a girl.
Derek: how did we lose him?
Doctor: it's hard to say. Most of the time we don't know and will never know. But it looks like baby B was taking all the nutrients and the things needed. What I can see it baby A is a lot smaller than baby B and your son couldn't survive because he wasn't getting everything he was supposed to.
*at Sky's moms*
Sky: mom
Taylor: honey what's wrong.
Sky: one of the babies wasn't getting enough nutrients and everything he needed so he didn't make it. But our daughter is healthy and big and should make it to term.
Taylor: love I'm sorry. Come here.
Sky: why did this have to happen to us.
Taylor: I don't know baby but your daughter will be healthy and will be ok.
Sky: mom how do you know. Things happen. Our son is a perfect example of that.
Taylor: sweetie. You wouldn't of ever of gotten pregnant just to lose both of your babies.
Sky: I guess your right. Derek and I are going to the store. We are starting on the nursery and then I have to start taking it easy. Doctors orders
Taylor: do you want me to come with?
Sky: no. It's ok. We can go next week to get more things if you want.
Taylor: ok love. Bye. I love you.
Sky: bye mom. I love you too
