Training A Star (Horse Story)

The Capture

That night I was sooo worried. What if Brooke stole Star!! my life would be over as Star is my life.

Later in the night I heard a noise, I don't know if it was a dream but I knew that it was about Star. A nagging voice in mg brain said, don't bother, stay in bed but I woke with a start. I grabbed some breeches and chucked them on with a huntergreen polo. I then carried my boots to the door and left a note to mum that said,

Dear Mum

At stables, be back at 5pm. Have phone. Call me when u get the note😄😄😄

Then I quietly got my bike, pulled on my boots and pedalled as fast as I could. I saw the same horse trick in the drive and I saw Star being led down the aisle. I tried not to scream and I crept up and pushed Brooke away from Star. "STAY AWAY FROM MY LITTLE BUBA!!!" I yelled. "Emma, u r just a girl, I am stronger than u." Brooke said

I then grabbed my phone and called triple zero, and ran talking to them saying all the details. I then called Mandy and she said she was already here, she heard me yell. I then ran back and snuck into the truck. I grabbed the keys and then opened the trailer. Brooke saw me as I opened the trailer. "GET AWAY FROM THE TRAILER, THAT NAG IS MINE!!!!!"

Mandy then snuck up behind her as the police arrived and they handcuffed Brooke. " You r coming with us, no more horse napping 4 u" said the police. Before Brooke was put in the car she yelled, "THAT NAG IS MINE,I WILL BE BACK!!!!!!"

I wasn't scared, I knew that Star was mine by law but that nagging feeling was back. What if Brooke hurt Star? What if Star could die????
