R'eduire au Silence(Silence)

Silence is my persistent foe
My adolescence is eternally my jail
Even though I endeavor to grow

Many people have a certain antipathy for me even though
I may appear strong but my character and soul are quite frail
Silence is my persistent foe

Their frequent ridicule is of a constant flow
Dancing in my head, I am sure to bail
Even though I endeavor to grow

Some days I want to circumvent to a meadow
But silence is a invariable and is always tell tail
Silence is my persistent foe

They silence me within a tempo
And one day I fear they will prevail
Even though I endeavor to grow

One day I am to have an afterglow
Of the freedom of sounds and cries but to no avail
Silence is my persistent foe
Even though I endeavor to grow
