Arial dropped me off as usual. Quickly I got inside because it was cold outside. I went to my locker a little more depressed than usual. I opened my locker looking at the picture of mom and I. Mom she was wearing a yellow. With a sliver locket that she gave to me in her will. Looking for my history book. I stand up on my tip toes so I reach the book.
"Do you need some help,"someone said. I turn to see Dick. He had a kind smile on his face.
"Yes," I said. I felt embraced about Dick helping me. Dick smilingly grabbed the book and handed it to me. "Thanks," I said smiling.
We both started to walk. I had closed my locker's door. "So, what did you do over the weekend," I asked Dick. For some reason Dick doesn't that much about his family life.
"I finished The Hunger Games, so that was basically my weekend. So, how was your weekend. It has to be more eventful than mine," he said looking at me. When he looks at I fell warm and somehow good.
" I just did homework, read, play volleyball, and also play the guitar," I said. Looking at Dick smiling trying to hid depression I felt most of the time.
We made it to history about a min. before the bell ranged. Annoying bell, I thought. A blond man with green eyes and sun kissed skin walked into the room.
Dick's point of view
I could almost all the girls sighing as the man walked in the room. I looked at (Y/n), her hand cupping her chin to hold up her face. Great, I thought. All of the girls looked as if they were in some kind of fairy tale. ( I am not thinking of the anime Fairy Tale).
"Okay class I will be subbing for Mr. Shelton for the next week," he said his voice is deep almost base. " My name is Mr. Jonas," he said very informal. " Now your teacher left notes saying that for this week you will be doing a presentation on the writing of the Constitution. You will be presenting on Friday. This presentation will be wroth eighty present of your grade. You will be paired into groups of two," he said.
He started to read the names aloud. " Our last group will be (Y/n) (L/n) and Dick Grayson," he said. I looked at ( Y/n). She was still stairing at the teacher. The bell ranged class was over. Hopefully (Y/n) won't be like this the whole week.
Your point of view
I was paired with Dick for this assignment. Great. My crush as my partner, I thought.
I got my things and walked out of the room with Dick. Side by side. "So do you want to come over to my place after school," Dick asked he seemed nervous for some reason.
"Shure,"I said. "So do you want me to start looking up facts scene I have study hall this hour," I asked. Most had study hall for one quarter of the school year. Dick had it next quarter.
"That sounds good,"he said. "See you later,"he said. Then walking away.
When got to second hour the teacher as usual was reading some romance book because most of the teacher how were single read them.
I started to put my things in my desk. After I did, I grabbed a computer. Turning it on so I could look up facts for the battle of Yorktown. For most of the hour I thought of Dick and hopping that he was okay that he wasn't worried about anything.
TIME SKIP
I met Dick at the cafeteria. I stood there waiting maybe ten minutes. Dick showed up he looked happy. I wonder what is making him so happy. "Hey, ready to go,"he asked.
"Yes," I said smiling.
"Hey, can I ask you something,"he said looking now worried.
"Yes," I said my heart was pounding.
"I was wondering if you would. Like to go out with me,"he said.
He was asking me to be his girlfriend. "Yes," I said smiling. Today was a good day. November 27 I stared going out with Dick Grayson.
