Alison's pov
Me and Em are on our way back to rosewood and at first I was a little nervous, but when I'm around emily I feel safe. I'm so happy to have her, she is my mermaid and she is always there to save me. I can't help ,but look at her while she is driving.
"Ali are you okay?"
I turned to see a concerned emily .
"Yes I'm fine"
"Well let's go inside"
We walked to the door and emily told her mom about the situation.
"Alison dear, you can stay as long as you want ,but you have to attend school"
"Of course Ms. Fields. Thank you"
"Sweetie call me Pam"
How could I get so lucky. I get to stay with the person who is always by my side.
"Thank you Pam"
She gave me a smile and emily and I headed upstairs.
"Em do you think we should call the girls over?"
"If you want ,but I don't want you to do it if you aren't ready."
"I'll see them at school tomorrow ,but we should talk."
"About what?"
Why am I so nervous right now?
"Ali, what's wrong you're
shaking?"
" Nothing I'm fine ,but what's new with you?"
"Nothing really I just broke a swim record, I started dating Paige an..."
"Wait.. you and pigskin are together now?!"
I felt my blood boiling.
"Hey, don't call her that!"
"If you wanna date a freak then that's your choice"
"Why are you mad right now?!"
" I'm going to the guest room goodnight emily"
I got up and walked to the room across the hall and slammed the door. Why was I so mad?
Emily's pov
What is going on with ali? I think I'm going to go talk to her. I get up quietly go into the guest room.
"Ali" I whispered
" Go away emily. I don't want to talk to you"
"I'm not leaving until we talk"
I waited and she finally turned on the light and sat up.
"Talk about what emily?"
"About why you were so mad"
'' I'm not mad, I just think you could do better than Paige."
"I was gonna break up with her anyway. I just don't feel the spark anymore"
She looked into my eyes and took a deep breath.
"Is there someone you do feel a connection with?"
I just wanted to tell her I had feelings for her still. To be honest they never went away. Even when I thought she was dead.
" Not at the moment no"
She looked kinda sad. But I don't want to jump to conclusions.
"Are we okay now?"
" Of course. I'll see you in the morning, goodnight"
"Goodnight Ali"
Alison's pov
I hear an alarm go off. It must be Emily's. I get up grab some clothes and head to the bathroom. I go in the shower and dry my hair. I hear a knock on the door.
"Ali are you almost finished in there?"
I didn't even realize I have been hogging the bathroom.
"Yeah, sorry em."
I brush my teeth and get out of the bathroom.
"There you go."
I say with a big smile on my face. Emily laughs and rolls her eyes. she is so cute! I mean she is pretty.
"As long as there is hot water left
for me."
She goes into the bathroom and I go get dressed. I'm so worried about how the girls will react to me being here. Emily comes out of the bathroom and I guess she could tell I was thinking very hard.
" Everything Is going to be fine okay."
After she said that I felt a lot better. I don't know how ,but she has that effect on me.
"How do you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Know me better than I know myself"
"I had years of practice. Now let's go"
I nodded my head and we went to her car and started driving to rosewood high.
