Chapter 1

I'm late and I'm going to be killed for it. I hated being late. I woke up this morning with only half an hour to get ready and get out of the house in time, though I did stay up till 2am this morning talking to Bobby he was in China at the minute waiting to be recruited somewhere else. He was of course in the army.

As I rushed out of the house I nearly tripped over the new huge  bouquet of flowers sent by my mom's boyfriend lord Hector Valentine 59th to the Royal throne of England. My mother and Hector met at the horse races, it was love at first sight apparently. I did not like Lord Snobby at all or his daughter Harriet.

A few months ago Hector proposed to my mom and she said yes, sadly for me it meant I was going to a Step father and sister. Harriet was not like normal soon-to-be-step-sisters she was always kind to me, but I still didn't like her or her royal life style!

Oh god I was just standing there talking... Well thinking to myself when I needed to get a move on or I'll never get to the bus stop in time! I started running again. I saw the bus stop and there was my bus about to leave! I ran faster and the bus driver noticed me waving my hands and running frantically after the bus and didn't move.

I got on the bus, showed the driver my student card and paid my fair. At the back of the bus I saw my friends Kayla and Arsha laughing at me.

Kayla was the trend setter in our group and in our school so she always changed her hair, makeup or accessory. This week it was elfin hair style short, spiky and sassy! Her hair was dark brown so dark it looked black and today it had a streak of purple glitter in it which went well with her hair colour. Kayla had blue eyes and wore glasses, she was fair in complexion she was also taller than me and Arsha.

Arsha on the other hand was the tomboy in the group. She was Indian so she had long black hair (that made her look like a girly girl) and she had dark brown eyes just like me,Arsha was the shortest in the group but she never went unnoticed as she had a thing for being a bit of a drama queen.

"Wow you were really bleating to get to the bus Lil" Kayla said between laughs.

I sat down next to them just as the bus started moving away from the bus stop. I put my bag down and gave them both a look that made them stop laughing

"Yeah look what all that running did to your hair!" Arsha told me and handed me a mirror from her bag.

I looked at my reflection on the mirror, my once straightened hair was flying in every direction. At least my mascara wasn't smudged or I would scream, whilst I had the mirror in my hands I decided to take a good look at myself.

My hair which was a dark brown just like Kayla's but longer than hers since she had cut it. My eyes were nearly the same colour as my pupil and my skin was a lovely milk chocolate colour since I was partly african (from my dad). Nothing else was wrong apart from my hair, so I took out my brush and brushed it back down and then gave the mirror back to Arsha.

"So now your done, where is the magazine?!" Kayla nearly screamed.

"Hold your horses!" I said then reached into my bag and got out my "GiRlZ rOcK!" weekly magazine.

I gave the fashion mini mag apart to Kayla and the sport part to Arsha. Then out of the magazine fell this weeks "hellish royal hotty" mini mag and both Kayla and Arsha dived for it.

This happened every week when I got this magazine they would fight over the 20 pages of his royal highness prince Damien like cannibals to fresh meat. It frightened me so much... Let the gushing begin!
