Paradise ➳ Niam {a.u}

chapter two.

"Where exactly is 'paradise'?" I asked him. Niall didn't talk about where we were after he said that. He just told me to follow him. I had a bit of hesitation at first. I mean, he was a stranger with two weapons, probably wanting to kill me. But, I followed him eventually, seeing as he had two weapons and could kill me at any time he wanted.

"This place is paradise." Niall responded, like I was just supposed to know where the hell I was.

"Where the hell is this place? Are we even on the map at this place?"

"We aren't," He said, shaking his head. "This is my little secluded paradise. I've named it Paradise falls. Only one person living here, and that's me. Well, two now."

"I'm not living here," I told him quickly. "I want to get back to the... main land. I just don't know how."

"Swim." He said, for like the thousandth time.

"I'm not fucking swimming."

"I'm not letting you take my boat."

"Why don't you just come with me?"

"Too dangerous." Niall shrugged.

"I'm getting out of here," I stated, standing up from the chair and walking out of the little thing he had built. He had everything made. He had a fort, a bed, a few chairs, some wood piled up on the ground, he even had food. Cans, bags, boxes. He had everything set up. Two months there and he had that much stuff.

I started walking in some random direction. I didn't even know where I was going. All I know is that there were more and more trees and more and more sand with every step I took. Oh, and I continued to step on rocks and prickly things, which made my feet start to ache. How does one even live there?

Then I heard the most gut wrenching noise ever. The a big clap of thunder, rumbling in the sky. Not even seconds later, a downpour of rain started to fall. My clothes were even more soaked in a matter of seconds. "Shit!" How the hell was I supposed to boat back to the mainland if it was pouring cats and dogs?

"Ah," Niall said from behind me. "Welcome to paradise falls; where mother nature's a bitch and you're her slut."
