Riker's POV
Hey Guys, thought I'd just fill you in what has happened in the last couple of months since we, left off. I now have the girl of my dreams, she's all mine. It's perfect in every way. The way her hair falls, the way she smells after she'd had a shower. That scent of vanilla and caramel makes my heart melt. The strawberry cream she uses, makes her glow. But there's one secret, that I've been keeping and it's pretty important. I still haven't told my parents that Amy's my girlfriend. Mom still thinks that we're still on and off, and sometimes Amy sneaks into my room at night so she can sleep with me. She's so adorable. Right now, I'm eating dinner with the family. Well, right now, I'm actually in the hospital. Moms illness has become severally worse lately and she's on a hospital bed 24/7 lately. I've Ben hardly getting any sleep. I'm scared that one morning when I wake up, she's not going to be here anymore. I'm currently outside her room with Amy.
I'm holding her hand tightly, trying to hold the tears back. I'm scared. Everyone's scared. Believe me. Rocky walked out and tapped me one the shoulder. "I'll meet you in the car." He said and walked off. "You ready?" I whispered to Amy. "Are you ready?" She asked me and I nodded. I stood up and took Amy into the room. "Hey Mom. How are you coping?" I asked her and Dad helped her up. She's been hardly talking, which is a total surprise. "Well, Mom I have something to tell you." I said and I took a deep breath. "This is my girlfriend." I said and Amy waved gently. "Hey Stormie." She said and reached for Amy so she went over to her. Amy bent down near her and Stormie caressed her cheek and whispered something in her ear and Amy smiled. That sweet smile of here's makes my heart melt.
Amy's POV
"Riker. Why don't we leave these two alone for a minute?" Mark said to Riker and he said a quick goodbye to me, which was a kiss on the cheek and then he hugged his Mom be kissed her head and he left with Mark.
"How are you coping?" I asked Stormie and he went to each for the water but I fixed up her straw and helped her drink it. Stormie has been like a mother to me, she always has been. She's a mother to everyone. I single tear slide down my cheek. I gave her some pills and she had them. While she was taking them, I grabbed the clipboard with all the information on it. I noticed that she needed a donor to donate blood and some bone marrow. No one has even volunteered. Not even one of her children, and that broke my heart.
"I'll do it." I said to her and wiped my tear away. "I'll help you Stormie. I'll do anything I can, to help you get better." I whispered to her and ran out the room and I ran straight to the reception of that floor. "I'd like to donate my blood and bone marrow to Stormie Lynch." I said to the lady and she looked at me strangely. "Blood type." She said. "O." I replied and she nodded. "You'll need to do some checks first though." She said and passed me a clip board. "Level three, and they'll get you checked up." She said and I smiled knowing that I was doing something pretty good for this family, or was I.
I entered level three with out Riker noticing. Thank god. "Miss Amy." The doctor said and I stood up and I entered a room with him. He took a sample of my blood and examined it. "We'll need some of your bone marrow. Only a little bit though." He said and I nodded. "You'll have to go into surgery tomorrow if you want to complete this task." He said making it sound terrifying. "I'll do it." I said, "Are you sure?" He said and started cleaning up. I took a breath and said, "Yeah. I'm sure.".
