Donavan-First Day

I woke up in the morning and popped out my vape pen. After taking a few hits, I threw myself into the shower and got ready for the school day. I combed my hair over my black eye so that no one would be able to notice. I grabbed my black clothes and my glasses and walked out of my room. My dad was waiting in the living room. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS DONNIE!!" he shouted, his voice booming through the empty house. He was referring to a wad of cash I had gotten from dealing rock cocaine and meth. "Money, something you haven't seen for years dickhead" I said. Bad idea. He instantly threw the remote at my head, then he threw me onto the couch and started to beat me. "Don't you EVER, and I mean EVER, go around peddling drugs for money you got that? Can you get that through your thick skull?" He kept screaming at me and spitting at me. I pushed him off, grabbed my phone and backpack, and ran out the door. I called my cousins George and Lorenzo to come and pick me up. They took me to school and I sat and waited. I then heard a quiet little voice whisper something in my direction. "Um... Hi I-I'm Audrey," she said, strangely quiet. "Um... Uhhhh. Hmmmm. Hi I'm Donavan," I said, my voice still a little scratchy from yelling at my dad. I didn't want to look up at her but as soon as I did I saw a flash of genuine concern in her eyes for me. I smiled and she said that she had to go to class and would see me tomorrow. I yelled wait and gave her my number. Then I grabbed my bag and walked to first hour, slowly and leisurely. I walked into my sixth hour class after a terrible school day. Then I saw her again. Mr Krey, the teacher, sat us next to each other! Then Ms Anewenter, who never changes seats at all during the year, sits us next to each other also in seventh hour. Goddamn she is hot. So I decided to ask if I could and K walked her home. When we were almost to her house I got a thought in my mind and stopped. She looked at me confused and said something but I couldn't hear it. As soon as she was in range I pulled her in and lightly kissed her on the lips. "Y-you just k-kissed me," she said, sounding a little bit scared and uncomfortable. I started to apologize, "I'm sorry, I'm so so sor-" I got cut off when she pulled me in and kissed me. Then we started to make out in the middle of the sidewalk. After about a minute and a half of making out, she pulled herself off, said goodbye, and skipped down the road to her house. I was still mesmerized by how she kissed me. So I'm gonna throw in the text conversation that night too:
