A Birthday To Remember

Happy Birthday Wattpad! I have spent 4 and a half wonderful years with you! I haven't been able to fully close out of the app or tabs in the internet since I started! It is safe to say it is an addiction by now! You gave me the courage to write. I had toyed with the idea for a couple years thanks to my Mother and NaNoWriMo, but reading stories on here helped better my writing and set my own loose on the world! Anytime someone else talks about Wattpad I feel like part of a secret club and get lost in conversation for hours! This website is always the first recommendation I give for avid readers and budding authors alike! Thank you!

The air is Chilly as you step up to the front doors of the Cottage. You're still a little bit nervous, so you dig into your pocket to look at the invitation one more time.

You are cordially invited to a soiree hosted by Hunter Hayes to celebrate Wattpad's official birthday party. Dancing, Kissing and Spaghetti will be plentiful. We do hope to see your Hairy face there. November 22nd, 2016 at Evening. Please dress in your best Ball Gown and don't forget your Laser Gun for the present swap!

You take a deep breath and are about to walk inside, when the door suddenly swings with a Fwa-Twang.

You're surprised to see Blake Shelton standing there in the flesh, all Salty and Pretty. You're not sure if you have the courage to talk to them right now, so you scurry inside like a(n) Snow Leopard and join the party, making a mental note to drum up a conversation with them later on over Molè.

Once inside, the party takes your breath away. Everyone is already Swing Dancing wildly on the dancefloor.

Hotel California plays loudly from the speakers and you can't help but do the Bernie . You had always shipped Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley so you're not entirely surprised to see them Writing together in the corner. Charles Dickens and LaurenDMSmith are having a rap battle in the centre of the room, while several Potterheads are gushing over the latest update of In 27 Days on their phones.

The whole atmosphere is electric. It looks like Storybrooke on Earth in the middle of Halloween and you can't imagine anything better.

"Happy Birthday, Wattpad," you say with a smile, "Here's to another 10 years!"
