True Friends Book 1

{3} ~ New School, New Friends, New Me

When I woke up, I realized I was sleeping. "We're here!" my mom exclaimed.

I got up and followed my parents outside the airplane.I grabbed my suit case and went into the car. Well, the taxi actually...heheeeeeeee..This is getting boring so far...My parents and I went to a hotel which was also boring.EVERYTHING,BORING!!!

*The next day..*

Ok today is the day I go to my new high school..I hope my prayers worked! I got ready and then grabbed my bag, that my mom packed in New York. Then my mom dropped me off to school.  When I got out of the car, I said good-bye to my mom and walked towards the main entrance.

Suddenly, a red head jumped at me and yelled, "Hi!!" I answered back with a simple 'hello' and introduced myself.This could be my chance to be friends with new people!

"Im Ariana!" said the red head.

After a friendly conversation, Ariana showed me around the school and it was cool. "Wow!This school is way bigger then my old high school back in New York!" I commented. 

Ariana lead me to the office so that I could get my schedule to begin my first day.When I got out of the office, Ariana was gone.

Then out of no where, the bell rung. Aww man.Just great. Where on earth is my Biology class? Realizing I was on my own, I decided to ask people so that they could guide me to my class. 

Unfortunately, people were either ignoring me or leading me to the bathroom. This is very confusing and I hate it!

So I wandered around hoping I would run into Ariana but I didn't.

Instead I ran into a girl with long brown hair.

"OMG are you Ok? You must be the newbie!" the brown haired girl said.

"Yeah Im Ok! Um..Can you help me find this class?" I asked showing her my schedule.

"Of course! Oh and by the way, Im Selena."  "Victoria.You can call me Tori. And thanks."

"No problem, Tori. Oh your class is on the 3rd floor first class.I'll come with you just in case you get confused haha.And maybe If you want, we could hang out sometime." she said.

I was hoping those words would come out of her mouth. "Yeah! That'd be great!" I replied and we started climbing up the stairs.

This is no where close to my first day back in New York. The people were friendly. Here, they're different..

When we got there, I followed Selena into the class. Wait? Does she have the same class as me?

"Im in this class too! Mrs.Grim is always late by 20 minutes. Crazy, I know! Thats why I was taking my time unlike the rest of the school." Selena answered my thoughts.

"Oh" Is all I managed to say.

Selena pointed at a chair as in asking me to take a seat there so I did; she sat next to me.

While we were waiting for the teacher, Selena told me about her other friends and how much she wanted me to meet them.

"You have to meet Dem,Liz and Ari. They are seriously like the best friends you could ever wish for.Dem is the nice happy one. Liz is the kind of Gothic type.But she can also be kind too! Finally Ari, the funny one.She actually dyed her hair red just to prove her love for red velvet cupcakes." 

"Oh I think I met Ari, she was showing me around then I told her I had to get my schedule from the office but when I came back, she was gone!" 

"Haha,yeah Ari does that a lot."
