She's A False Alarm To Me

NATE'S POV:

I watched as the girl left the van with the bag of money. I turn to pick up a gun that was next to me and pointed it at her as she left. What am I doing? I'm never going to see her face again. I point the gun at myself instead and look at a shard of glass inside of my hand and quicky put the gun down. I wrapped my hand in gauze right after removing the glass . It hurt like a bitch but I made sure to be as quiet as I can.

AVERYS pov
I really wish I was able to help him but I can't. I know that if I help him I would get attached . Everything about him was so beautiful , the way he cared for me made my heart flutter . I knew he didn't want to hurt me . I quickly snap out of my thoughts and tune into the loud police sirens signaling they're around us . I go back to the van to warn Nate but he was gone. By now I was beyond confused . I quickly run for this bridge that was nearby and get very close to the wall so they wouldn't see me. I had nothing to do with this mess so I have no idea why I'm hiding.

Nate's POV

She really left me , I think to myself. She was so beautiful so I doubt there would be anything between us if I had been saved. The police sirens start getting louder so I quickly run to this nearby tree and hid behind it. I made sure to leave no Trace of DNA.
3 HOURS LATER
The cops have now left . They towed the van and even brought a search dog . Everytime they would look away I ran even further so they wouldn't find me. I start slowly walking towards this bridge that was nearby the van ( the van isn't here any more ) and see the girl that we kidnapped . I quicky run to her and tap her on her shoulder since she was turned away.
" AHH- " she yelled and I quicky P like placed my hand over her mouth . Her eyes start to water and look glossy . I remove my hand slowly from her mouth "p-p-please don't hurt m-me" she says in a very weak whisper. I could never hurt her . " I would never hurt you , trust me " I say . " I can help you , just please trust me " I say calmly so she won't be scared . " Okay " she says hesitantly . I pull out my phone to call one of my friend. " Aye what's up dude , how'd the bank thing go?" I quicky become sad because of this question . I start to think about my dead friends and how I will probably be caught. I look up to the girl and quickly become calm . " Uh yea , it went good " " that's cool dude , what'd you need? " He asked . " I need you to come pick me up , but I have no idea where I am " I say honesty. " It's alright Ill just used the tracker". He says. Oh that's right ! He was the one who gave us the drone for the robbery , he's very good with technology. " Alright dude ! I already got your location . I'm on the way." He says . " Thank you so much , I owe you big time. I lean against the wall and let my body slide against it into a seated position on the floor. I can't believe Im letting this girl go through all this . I put my head in my knees and start to think about how badly I fucked up.

AVERYS POV
I barely even know this guy and it hurts me so bad to see how sad he is . He's just a loving guy that doesn't make the right decisions. I quicky join him in sitting down and lay my head on his shoulder. He jumps up a little frightened and looks at me and relaxes. We stare at each other for a while and he decides to break it by looking forward. We sit in an awkward silence for a while and start to wonder where his friend is because I'm freezing! I start to shiver and I guess Nate notices because he asks " You cold ?" No shit , I think to myself . He's all armoured with some nice clothes and I got on this small dress that is now ripped everywhere. " Yea , a little " . He takes off his jacket and gives it to me without looking at me. He continues to look forward . I don't get it , is he mad at me ? I haven't even speakers to him much. I am still showing and out of nowhere he sighs and says " come here" with his arms open I quickly scoot close to him and cuddle into his chest . Holy hell his heart is beating fast , I think he's gonna have a heart attack. "I'm sorry " he says out of nowhere and his voice cracks. "I'm sorry" he says again with more emotion . I look up and notice he's looking down at me with tears in his eyes. " Hey hey , don't cry . It's okay . " I clean his tears with the sweater he gave me. We stay staring into each other's eyes and right when were leaning in , "BEEP".
Of course , out of all the times his friend could've cane he comes now. I was low-key excited for this kiss.
