{A/N: warning the start of this book is really bad, but I promise you that it will get better}
Emilia's POV
I woke up to the sound of screaming and shouting I ran outside to see that the titans had broken in. In fear, I ran to the boats, while running I saw my best friend Charlotte completely stuck under all the rubble.
"CHARLOTTE!!" I screamed out of worry but that only alerted a titan great just great.
I started to try and pull her out but she was too stuck under the rubble. I could hear the titan getting closer
"Emilia before I die I want to say you've been the best friend I could ask for." Charlotte said fearfully
"NO CHARLOTTE I'M NOT GOING TO LOSE YOU, IF YOU DIE, I DIE!" I screamed with tears streaming down my face
"Emilia I can't get out of the rubble there is no point in trying to get me out" Charlotte begged
But out of nowhere, Emilia was grabbed by one of the people (Hannes) from the garrison
"NO CHARLOTTE" I shouted
The titan that was coming, walked to the rubble and pulled her out and..ate
her. I looked up to see Hannes I started to cry
"Why..... WHY! DID YOU LET HER DIE!?, I COULD HAVE SAVED HER HANNES!!" I screamed while sobbing into my hands
"Look, Emilia, you could have died anyway! don't you understand!?,
now come on let's get you to the boats" Hannes said with sorrow.
*Time skip*
First-person POV
Emilia just reached the boat, and when she got on she saw very traumatised People.
"Hi" Emilia turned round to see a girl talking to her
"Ummm hi," Emilia Said with her newfound unemotional state.
"I'm Mikasa are you alright you don't look ok " she asked questionably
"names Emilia and I'm ok" she simply said
"ok then" after that he walked away.
