The Doctor's nightmare (A doctor who short story)

The Doctor was messing with the wires of his T.A.R.D.I.S. when a voice came from behind him. A voice who's words crushed the Doctor's soul. The voice of a million companions combined to make one. "You could have saved us," the voice called, " we gave you our trust and you couldn't give yours to us." So many companions, all seeing him as he pretended to be ; a lovable, brave and caring creature who whisked them off to see the universe but really he was a murderer. The Doctor turned seeing the faces of all who trusted him with their lives. " I'm sorry," he whispered but he knew it was not good enough. The voice screamed at him "We died because of you Doctor and now you must pay the price." In that instant the Doctor's hearts broke into a million pieces one for each companion who died. The Doctor suddenly found a knife in his hand and silent tears streamed down his face. "You know what to do," the voice whispered one last time, fading away. The Doctor brought the knife to his throat remembering all of those he knew and lost, Donna, Amelia, River, Rose, and the lost went on, at last he thought about his home, about he destroyed it and the lives of so many innocent civilians. He felt the knife sink into his throat and felt it drop from his hand as the regeneration started. The Doctor felt the knife fall only to pick it up and bring it back against his throat......then the Doctor shot up in his bed, it had been a dream, a terrible dream, though the pain The Doctor felt at this moment in time was real and he would remember, no longer fearing death and instead looking forward to the time when he took his last breath and said to the world, goodnight.

I apologize and well let me just say, I am a big fan of Doctor Who so it is nothing like 'let's poison the minds and hearts of all who like Doctor Who and read this'  I am sorry, so sorry.
