Prologue

(Y/N) Pov

" Mom I understand that I'm going to be in a different state, but you need to know that I'm doing this so that I can find my passion. " You've been on the phone with your mom for an hour now.
Why can't she just understand that this is what I want?
Yeah maybe I'm going to be a couple miles away. Well more like 1000 miles, but it doesn't matter. I've already got my plane ticket, and I'm sitting in the airport ready for my flight.
" Honey, I know that I can't stop you from pursuing your dream. I just want to let you know that I love you. Promise me nothing bad will happen while you are there? "
I smiled. I know she always wanted what was best for me.
" Yes Mom, I promise that I will not let anything bad happen to me. I love you lots mom. I need to take a little nap though before my flight leaves. I'll call you when I land. Bye. "
" Goodbye (Y/N). I love you so much. "
With that I hang up my phone, and I check the time. It's 5:46am right now. My flight leaves at 7:30. This gives me a good little time to rest my eyes. I turn my alarm on for 7:00.
My eyes begin to feel droopy. As soon as they close I begin to dream.
