Freddy sat at the top of the play set. He looked out and as the sun set, when he heard footsteps. Suddenly, Summer appeared beside him. She rested her hands in the metal railing that Freddy was perched on and leaned against them. Her hair was up in a ponytail, and she was wearing jeans and a plain t-shirt with a sweater over it.

"Hey." She said quietly.

"Hi." Freddy said. He hopped down from the ledge and leaned his back against so that him and Summer were facing opposite ways.

Summer turned on her side for a better view of Freddy.

"So, Why did you want to meet me here."

"Because that picture, with Kale, is just a picture. She wanted to take one and I said ok, I didn't know she was gonna post it. And I wanted to tell you that Kale doesn't mean anything to me because, well, I like you Summer. I mean, like like you. I've had a crush on your for a while now but then in thought you were dating Zack so I thought I wouldn't have a chance but then it turned out that Zack and you were just hanging out and that there was nothing going on between you two because he liked Tomika. So I figured that now is my chance, I like you Summer."

Freddy breathed out and looked at Summer. Summer was just staring at him.

"I get it, you don't like me back." Freddy out his head down.

"No, I-" but there was no easy way for Summer to say it. So instead she did this:

She turned Freddy's head towards hers and she kissed him.

It was the sweetest, purest thing both of them had ever felt. Summer was nervous because it was her first kiss, and she knew that it wasn't Freddy's, but that's what made it all the more perfect.

They broke apart.

Freddy breathed out "Wow."
