The next day during lunch I tell Blaise and Tracey about what happened between Malfoy and I in the Astronomy tower.

"He bad mouthed your parents' divorce?" Tracey raises her eyebrows. "What - but that's so wrong!" I sigh, staring at my vegetable pasty. I'm not looking forward to the next few weeks where I have to work with Malfoy.

"You should tell Sinistra about what happened," Blaise suggests. "Maybe she'll let you switch partners."

"It's fine, it doesn't matter -"

"What doesn't matter?" A girl says from behind. I turn and look at the dark eyed girl with slightly tanned like mine skin slightly taken aback.

"Nothing, Tia," I say. Why is she speaking to me know? Then I remember what happened the previous night and I almost start smirking. Tia and her boyfriend Seamus. If I ever let that slip the whole of Gryffindor would hate them.

Oh, the joys of knowing people's secrets.

Well, Tia's secrets.

"Can I talk to you later?" She asks quietly. I shrug and say 'okay' turning my back and waiting for her footsteps to patter off into the distance.

"On a happier note," I let my smug expression come loose, "I've also learnt my older sister's get herself a secret boyfriend no one is meant to know about."

"Who?" Tracey and Blaise ask in unison.

"Seamus Finnigan," I say quietly. "Brown's been crazy about him for ages and Thomas fancies my sister, but Tia and Finnigan love each other - mental isn't it?"

"Finnigan's not even good looking," Blaise snorts.

"Coming from the most good looking boy in the whole school," I roll my eyes. Blaise's attractiveness is one his tells for when I identify him. Yes, he's that good looking.

"You think I'm good looking?" He raises an eyebrow, winking at me.

"Piss off," I giggle. "But seriously, that's one fucked up love square, and I'm the only one who knows."

"You could ruin lives with that, Mira," Tracey presses her lips together. "Is that why Tia wants to talk to you?"

"I think it's because of this argument we had in the holidays," I shrug. "But anyways, if she ever crosses the line with me I'm going to ruin her." Just like she ruined me eight years ago.

I meet Tia beside the Entrance Hall steps after dinner.  It takes her at least five minutes before she hurries down, looking at me sheepishly.  "Sorry, I was caught up with something," she apologises.  More like someone.

"What do you want to talk about?"  I ask, leaning against the banister.

"I wanted to apologise in private," she says. "I just... something put some common sense into me -" someone, more like, "- and I realised I was wrong for what I said. I was being selfish and I was... jealous?"

I can't help but snort. "You're jealous that I get more attention because I have brain damage? Wow, I didn't think you'd stoop that low - oh wait, you damaged me, never mind."

"Mira, I'm not here to start another argument," Tia sighs exasperatedly. "And I know it sounds stupid but I was stupid."

"Look," I begin, folding my arms, "I'm not gonna let this go because you know how much this affected the whole course of my life, including yours. I forgave you eight years ago on that hospital bed but I'm regretting it. Back then, I was a pushover, but not anymore. You're my sister and I love you, but what happened and what you've said will always stay with me."
