Chapter 19 - Love Is In The Air

''You're so afraid of feeling, that someone might not love you back for who you really are. Show me who you are Harry, tell me now that there's no camera, no friends to help you out.''

Harry walks towards me, his eyes still cold and hard. He put his hands close to my face, my eyes closing, scared of his next move.

I certainly did not expect what happened next.

Chapter 19: Love is in the air


Harry's POV

Right now, I wanted one thing. Everything she said was true, I was scared, scared of losing her, scared of what people might think. I had to do something to show her I felt something for her without ruining my cover. I'd get arrested again and I cannot take another trip to jail, not only it ruined my career but put Lily on the spot.

~Two days earlier~

As the officers let me go, a strong hand pushed me on the wall. I didn't knew who he was nor what he wanted front me. Seems like Taylor was right, Lily was wanted for a reason much more complicated than what I thought.

Her parents were and still are, undercover cops. Meaning that they have broken the trusts in many gangs including the one in London. They wanted revenge and the only way to get it was by kidnapping and raping their only daughter.

They needed someone close to do it, someone that could break her. That someone was me. Since she didn't knew much about me, she couldn't guess my next move. Brilliant.

After some quick warnings, I left with a sigh. Everything I did to make her mine was going to be destroyed. She won't ever trust me again, the thing she doesn't know is that it's the way I'll keep her safe.

~back to the present~

Her eyes were scared as I put my hands on her face, I watched her for a few seconds before I pressed my lips against hers. She seemed surprised at first, then started to kiss back. The kiss was slow and bittersweet.

She pulled away first, uncertain of what just happened.

"Harry? Why did you kissed me?" She asked, slightly shaking. Big brown eyes uncertain of everything that was happening.

"I wanted to show you that I care Lily." Stupid Harry, you could have at least told her that you had feelings for her.

She slowly nodded, taking everything in. The room was dark and only had a bed. If I do it now, she can forgive me. "Love, I'm so sorry for I have to do."

Her eyes searched mine, looking for signs that I might feel guilty about this. I sighed and knew this was going to be the hardest thing I had to do. Why did I get stuck in this? Months ago I was just Harry Styles, one fifth of the biggest band.

She nodded again slowly, her eyes glassy like she was about to cry. "Okay." She whispered, her eyes looking in mine.

I lifted her on the bed and kissed her softly as I hovered over her. I put my hands on each side of her face as I kissed her slow, not wanting to push her still wanting to get this over with.

I deepened the kiss and put my hands on her hips, my breathing getting heavier. I knew that I shouldn't do this, I should have escaped with her. Gone somewhere else with the boys, flew to America or something.

I went on and took my shirt off, her eyes staring at my torso. Watching it as she traced her fingers softly on it, she bit her lip and looked up to me, a small smile was on her face. Like she knew I did this to save her, to protect her.

She leaned up to kiss me again, a small smile against my lips. I felt my heart pounding as it was about to explode. I had to tell her how I felt about her, how much I loved the way she smiled and how she laughed.

"Lily?" She looked at me, smiling softly.

"Yes?"

"I lo- " A guy walked in, a mischievous look on his face.

"Harry. Change of plans."
